So i wanted a haircut that was longer on the top and shorter on the back & sides, and they give me short all the way through. this place sucks, supercuts is better.

I decided that I needed my hair cut today! And my regular hair stylist had no openings, so I called Great Clips in Buford,Ga. to ask the price of a seniors haircut and told it would be $15 and that yes they take walk-ins. No mention whatsoever about “checking in” online. Upon arrival at salon a stylist checked me in at the reception desk using name and phone number. The first flag went up when it took 5 or 6 tries to get that right. Was told the wait would be about an hour as there were other patrons ahead of me. Actually people were coming in that had already “checked in”. So people who came in after me were actually getting serviced before me. More than an hour later, I was called up by a stylist and I requested a wash, conditioner, cut and blow dry. At that point I was told “we don’t do styling “aka blow dry and style. I was flabbergasted and questioned this as I’ve never been to a salon that doesn’t blow dry hair. Another stylist said” it costs $25”. That’s on top of $15 cut, $6 wash $10 conditioner. So $65 plus a tip for a chain hair salon who basically only basically cut hair. I now had the option to get a dry haircut or leave. A dry haircut was given by the very sweet stylist. I think the check in by phone doesn’t work too well considering everyone is in queue upon arrival and those who didn’t precheck wait a very long time.Also since Covid is still raging, no safety measures in force. No masks, no sanitizing, no distancing; quite shocking. Most businesses have their employees wear masks but not here. Will not be using this hair salon again. Great clips was not great!!!

Made an appointment at the Great Clips store in Wyoming Mi yesterday 12/17/2021. I checked in online and it said I had 31 mins. I waited 15 mins and then left as its just a block away. As I was pulling into the lot I received a text saying. Walk right in your appt is in 10 mins. When I walked in she asked if I checked in online and when I told her I had she asked for my name. When I told her she said oh there you are at the bottom. She then tells me it will be over an hour before my appointment. I said hey...wait a minute. I checked in online and was told 30 mins and that was 20 mins ago and you just sent me a text saying walk right in we will be ready to see you in 15 mins and now your telling me its over an hour wait!! She said there are other people in front of me. I said so your Online Check in is just BS. No apology or anything she just said well other people are ahead of you do you want to wait. In the Christmas Spirit I politely told her what she could do with my appointment. I have been using Great Clips since they opened up as they are a couple mins from my house but the just lost a long time loyal. Jude's is right across the street.

The online check-in is BS. I was checked in online by my wife, and received an acknowledgement on my phone. When I got to the store at the Publix shopping center on US 98 in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, I was told and shown that I was not on their list. The employee at the desk, a woman with white hair that looked like a Star Wars helmet or a sugar dusted chocolate drop, was rude boarding on just plain nasty! Furthermore, the stylist that I wanted, Terry, was not there even though I was told she would be when I called the day before. Despite the rude employee, received a nice welcome and cut from "Anne". Needless to say, it will be a long time before I consider going back to Great Clips. My wife likes Terry's styling and I may go ONLY when my cut is right after my wife's, however, SuperCuts is closer, nicer and doesn't have a screwed up online check-in, and if you time it right, it's not needed.-

Hair was cut by Iqra at the 4th avenue location in St. Catharines Asked for a hair cut level with chin and all the same length with no layers. HAIR WAS CUT TWO INCHES ABOVE CHIN AND NO TWO HAIRS ARE THE SAME LENGTH. This woman has no education or experience in hair cutting. NONE. My daughter was in tears leaving the salon. Worst hair cut ever. Staff is incompetent. Get your hair cut somewhere else.

BEWARE: Laura Goodwin and others at this Great Clips are unintelligent and malicious and corporate did nothing about it: 1) They had a mask mandate but didn’t care if people wore their masks 2) They didn't care when I pointed out their double standard when making me wear a mask while 3 others didn't 3) They called the police and Laura Goodwin lied to them saying "I refused to wear a mask" 4) They tried to make me leave despite my son still getting a haircut 5) when I tried to apologize for getting upset with a gift and a letter, they called the police to put the gift and letter into evidence

THIS STORE SUCKS, they ruined my oldest and youngest sons hair, and cut my middle sons EAR! Don’t go to this crap. I wish I could rate this store -5 stars. SMH

Normally I get an average at best haircut at Great Clips, but I go and this old geezer gives me a haircut SOMEHOW WORSE than the time my mother shaved my head. To make matter worse we were getting school photos the next day and I looked like an idiot. I don’t even want to try and explain the rage I was feeling, because this was an outrage. I wouldn’t give this place a single star, and I sure haven’t gone back since.
