If you want an old fashion barber shop hair cut, Great Clips on S. Fry Rd at Highland Knolls is NOT the place to go! No one there knows how to cut hair, no training, no credentials of hair cutting experience. Its merely a little scissor cutting, and you'er done.

First time to this Great Clips - fantastic job by Ms. Ashley - who went to learn in the school for 4 years on Cosmetics, beauty education ... She got the job immediately and has been working in the Barber/Haidcutting or Beard time for 12 years i believe- according to her statement. She is quick, sharp and very intelligent... Amazing good work.
Other person who picks the calls - possibly the days i call - Ms. Amanda is highly helpful and have a great positive attitude- with her help i could go on the right time and no waiting - Amazing
Another good person is the Manager Mr. Kevin...
WE have to ensure all these people are recognized
Great Clips in Minnesota who does all the franchise to the owners- Call center Ms. Jessica or Ms. Jennifer- forgot since i called on Thursday - i am getting old , i tend to forget and i did not write down-She is super fantastic the way she responds, she states we get only more complaints than apprecations -she was really happy when i called them in Minneapolist, MN.. It seems each Great Clips are owned by Franchise owner- separate owners for each location, i believe- similar to Sport Clips
Thanks again

It was our first visit
It was our first visit. My grandson explained what he wanted. It was supposed to be a little fade off the side and the back and a line up in the front. She person cut way too far up. My 15-year-old took 2 years to grow that hair. He was devastated, upset and depressed. The lady THEN informed us that she was a cosmetologist, not a barber. I think she should have told us that as soon as he asked for a haircut. Great Clips has information on their website that says their staff are trained to cut hair. My wife looked at our grandson's hair, and she called that location. She said that the lady who messed up our grandson's hair told her that she did not have the tools to do what he wanted. We left and went to a different barbershop, and a lot more hair had to be taken off to look better. At least we were not charged for that haircut. I am not suggesting that that lady be fired. I suggest pictures be made available of some of the various hairstyles that young black men are getting these days. Great Clips, please train your staff or put on your website that your staff is not very skilled in cutting black men's hair.

One of the most difficult things to do when you move to a new town is to find a hairstylist. Angel, at Great Clips, was amazing. She worked wonders with my over processed and haircut I did on my own. Great talking to her too and she gave me a lot of tips and which products to use to achieve the same look. And they worked too. My hair looks the same as when I letf the store. I am so happy with her and will definitely be going back.

No one here has cut hair before
My teenage daughters both went to the Ken caryl, CO locations to get their long hair trimmed. Something I could have done fairly easy myself given the simplicity of their hair, but decided to trust a “professional” instead. Their experience was awful. They paid $53 to have their hair completely butchered. It looks like a 3 year old cut it. Nothing is even and chunks of hair are literally missing. Both came back in tears. I know have to pay a bunch more money to go to a place that employs people who have actually cut hair before.
