I cannot express how pleased I have been with PetPlan. About one year ago, I considered canceling due to the changes in premiums as Maggie got older. I thought to myself that if I'd started putting away the cost of the current premium when Maggie was a puppy, I'd be set. I was wrong. SO wrong. Last month Maggie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, which resulted in the amputation of her left front leg. PetPlan has been in my corner the entire step of the way. They have not only offered financial support (so far totaling over $8,000), they have also been outstanding in regards to customer service. I wish I could remember the name of every employee who has supported me through this ordeal so I could personally thank them. Their compassion and concern for Maggie has been above reproach. If I had just put money aside, I would be nearing the end of the line in regards to finances, and that's not where I want to be as we approach the chemo phase. Maggie is doing well, and is a perfectly happy, pain-free 3 legged puppy. We'll go through chemo to help extend her prognosis from 2-4 months out to 1-2 more years of happy living. We certainly wouldn't want to face these treatments w/out the professionals of PetPlan on our team.

Katee was extremely helpful in assisting me with a recent claim for our new puppy. This is the first time we’ve had pet insurance. Katee patiently and thoroughly explained the process which is completely new to me. At the end of the conversation I had a better understanding of the claims process and what to expect with policy coverage in the event of any additional claims. I’ve heard great reviews from other policyholders and I’m glad we chose Petplan to cover our new puppy.

Little did I know when I adopted, Goliath, my Akita, at 2 years of age that he would have so many serious/critical illnesses and injuries. My claims have been paid within 2 weeks. The people who answer the phone are always upbeat and make sure to provide the correct information. I don't know how much Petplan has paid out over the 7 years I've insured my dogs with them, but for Goliath, it has to be in the tens of thousands of dollars. Without Petplan, I couldn't afford the best care for his many issues. For me, Petplan best fit my needs and I highly recommend them.

Jordyn has helped me on more than one occasion. I found her to be very helpful, patient, caring and sympathetic to my dog and my concerns over his health. She sounds like a great person. Amazing. I was skeptical about pet insurance at first to be honest. We did not have pet insurance for my childhood dog who ended up being riddled with (expensive) medical issues we were lucky enough to be able to deal with. I first got my own kitten when I was 20 and I was not sure how I felt about a yearly deposit of hundreds. Within the first year, my kitten was diagnosed with bladder crystals after his second UTI in a few months. He now has to be on prescription food for the rest of his life, but not having to stress about the ~$850 initial vet bill was super relieving (plus they help with the check-up x-rays every 6 months if I’m not mistaken, since the condition was NOT preexisting). A couple months after paying for the second year, my dummy cat apparently managed to swallow a string we ultimately found out in the end but having pet insurance made a super stressful experience slightly more tolerable. We were in and out of the vets office and ER visits like 7 times over the span of 2 weeks with thousands in vet bills. Eventually he was referred to a huge clinic 2 hours away where he ended up in the ICU before they did a $3000 exploratory surgery on top of the $1000 ER deposit bill. Due to the urgency of the situation, my credit card actually got declined because I was waiting for the checks to come in since they were dispersed over a two week period, so luckily my dad was able to help me out until I got reimbursed. But if I’m not mistaken there’s an option to preauthorize things like this normally so this shouldn’t be a problem for many.

I have always been pleased with Pet Plan. Never had any issues with payment from them. I feel better knowing my fur baby is #petplanprotected. When I did call in I spoke with a lovely woman named Katee. She was very helpful and I felt confident that my issue was dealt with appropriately. Thank you.
