I had the pleasure of speaking with Joe. He was a tremendous help, listening to my situation and providing thorough guidance and assistance. He made the claims process seem very smooth and I had peace of mind when the call was over. Being nervous to begin with because of Coco's illness, he was a breath of fresh air.

I’ve been trying to get my claim completed for almost 3 months, spoke/emailed a couple people in the last couple months and no one was able to get my claim processed. I sent everything that was requested from me and nothing. Today, 5/7/21, I called again and was SO fortunate to have gotten Joe Prater on my call!!! He was very patient and kept me on the phone while he was uploading documents (documents that I had already sent to someone else on 4/8/21) to expedite my claim. He was very professional and had a sense of urgency and knows exactly how to service his clients! Thank you Joe!!

We’ve been with PetPlan for almost 13 years. At first it was a great company. They had good rates, quick responses, prompt claims services and a great website. I’m now think they must be ready to close their doors. Massive rate increases, very slow responses, very slow claims responses and a horrible new website. The website is barely usable on my phone and does not work at all on my Windows 10 laptop. We also used to get a nice magazine we no longer receive. We are wanting to add our new puppy to our plan, but don’t want to work with a business that is about to fail.

Recently, I called Petplan for advice on changing my policy. I spoke to Joe Prater who gave me several scenarios. Normally, I would have been skeptical, but I had done my homework. So, when Joe had advised me to keep my plan as is, I felt that his advise was credible. He was very pleasant to speak with and very patient!

We have been with PetPlan for over 11 years. Petplan enabled us to care for our sweet boy Kuma throughout his 15+ years with us. We sadly said goodbye to Kuma last week and miss him dearly. Thank you to Petplan for your support over the years and making it possible to give him the BEST care. I called Petplan to let them know our dear Kuma has passed away. Spoke to Joe P, and he was so kind and caring. He took care of all the necessary information needed at this time. Thank you Joe for your kind words and sympathies. Petplan is lucky to have individuals like Joe P. answering the phones and making this call easier for me. I will use Petplan again in the future. This pet insurance was the best thing I ever did for our dear Kuma.

My vet had submitted a pre-approval for a specialist for an allergy consult and testing. It was sent in at least 3 weeks ago and my appointment was coming up. I called Pet Plan and spoke to Joe Prater. He was so helpful and pleasant to talk to. He found my claim quickly and was able to assist me in following up with the pre-approvals prior to Rocco's appointment. Pet Plan has been really great in getting my claims processed quickly. I am so grateful I did my research and chose Pet Plan for pet insurance.

I called Petplan about a claim for my dog, Bear. I spoke with Joe Prater, he was so helpful and pleasant. He needed more info from my vet and called them while I waited on hold. Joe emailed me a few hours later to let me know that he had received all the info he needed and that I would be reimbursed shortly. I couldn't have asked for better service!! I have also spoken to Abra (?) in the past, and she was wonderful as well! It is so nice to be able to call such pleasant and helpful people during a stressful time. Thank you Petplan!
