There was absolutely no interference in signing up for OR using Good RX. The pharmacy kept me on file for using Good RX for this particular prescription.

I am writing to report a virtual visit…
I am writing to report a virtual visit that was not merely unprofessional, but genuinely disturbing, medically negligent, and potentially a violation of patient rights. I am also a paying monthly subscriber to your Rx service, which makes this experience not only personally damaging but a direct failure of a service I pay for.
On May 17, 2026 at approximately 5:45pm, I had a virtual consultation through GoodRx’s telehealth platform with a female provider Genelle Price. I contacted the service because I have a confirmed, diagnosed case of HSV (herpes). I have been prescribed Valtrex through GoodRx previously, by a different provider. I was experiencing prodromal symptoms—itching, tingling, and the appearance of small bumps—which any knowledgeable provider understands are the warning signs of an impending outbreak. What I received instead was treatment so degrading and medically incompetent that I am still shaken by it.
This provider looked at the photo I submitted—of my genital area, as the platform explicitly instructs—and responded by making unsolicited, shaming, and completely inappropriate comments about my body. She said, verbatim: "You don't need to show all of that. I know it says show the area, but you don't need to show all that." Her tone was disgusted. She was not educating me. She was humiliating me. This is not medical care. This is abuse of authority.
She then told me that because I did not have open, oozing lesions, she could not confirm I was having an outbreak—despite me explaining that recurrent outbreaks are rarely as severe as the first. She asked me, with what I can only describe as contempt, "How do you know that?" I explained that this is basic medical fact, well known to anyone living with HSV, and easily verified by any competent provider. She responded by telling me she has been working for over 20 years and knows what she is doing, essentially telling me that I, could not possibly understand my own body or my own condition.
She refused to prescribe the medication I needed. She told me I should see someone in person. She said she would cancel my visit and issue a refund. Then she ended the call. As of now, she has done neither. I have been charged. I have been humiliated. And I have no medication.
Let me be clear: I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I was not seeking a new diagnosis. I was not asking for controlled substances. I was asking for a refill of a medication I have been prescribed before, for a condition I have already been diagnosed with, during a moment of genuine medical need. And I was treated like I was lying, like I was wasting her time, and like my body was something to be shamed.
I am a paying customer. I am also a human being who deserves to be treated with basic dignity when seeking medical care.
This provider should not be working with patients. Not through GoodRx. Not anywhere.
I am requesting:
1. A full investigation into this provider’s conduct during my visit.
2. Immediate termination of her contract with GoodRx if the investigation confirms my account was not refunded (Or I will be taking legal actions on account of theft)
3. A full refund of my visit fee, as promised but not delivered.
4. A written response from GoodRx outlining what action has been taken.
I am also a monthly subscriber to your Rx service. This means I am not a one-time user. I am a recurring customer. And I am telling you that if this is the quality of care your platform allows, I will not continue to pay for it, and I will not hesitate to share this experience publicly.
Please treat this with the urgency it deserves. This was not a misunderstanding. This was harm.

Beware
Beware! Good Rx Gold is not accepted at Walgreen or Walmart but when you search for prices the website shows the gold price at pharmacies that don’t participate . I checked my prescription and the price was Walgreens $84.00 using my gold Rx Card. The price at the pharmacy was $118. When I called Good Rx I was told not all pharmacies participate. Why are these pharmacies even listed? This is not acceptable

What a horrible experience
What a horrible experience, I would not recommend GoodRx to anyone. Just tried a simple task of changing payment method in my account has been canceled and I can no longer order prescriptions. Person on the phone said this was a “glitch”, which makes no sense, but when the glitch was fixed, I could place orders again. I asked, would they contact me when that was possible and they said no you would have to continue to reach out.
Absolutely absurd!
