I recently RESCUED a golden retriever Momma from "Becky Carroll's Golden Retrievers". We met Becky and Clay Carroll in a park in Spencer IN. We were introduced to Zuzu, (Azealea Zuzu Clover), her picture is still on Becky's profile at the time of this review. We were told ahead of time that she had not been vaccinated. Took her to the vet on Monday 9/22 to get her shots and a check up. We were told that Zuzu has Heart Worm and Zuzu has two tick born virus's, after a stool sample was tested, we were told she has two intestinal parasites. She is a very sick girl. As of now we have spent over $2500.00 for the Heart Worm treatment, vet visits, and medication. Hopefully we will be starting a Go Fund Me to help with the cost. According to the vet, the heart worm is spread by mosquitos biting infected dog and transfer to other dogs. If this is the case, there is a good chance William and Oakley could be infected and possibly puppies too. Parasites passed through feces, same thing, other dogs in close quarters are susceptible to the virus's and parasites. I am writing this to let people to be careful when dealing with Becky Carroll's Golden Retrievers, if this is how they treat the parents, I personally would not buy from them. I think Good Dog needs to be a more diligent vetting their breeders if they on going to indorse them on their Website. Thanks for reading. UPDATE: See Good Dog's response below. It's obvious they didn't get the point. In this case, they are promoting/defending puppy mill practices.

I am a breeder that uses Gooddog.com to place my puppies. I used to use other sites as well, but I got sick of the scams coming my way. I do not get scammers through Gooddog.com, not everyone is a great fit for one of my dogs, but at least I know that they are all real people. The standard that they require as far as health testing and socialization helps me to stand apart from other breeders as well. For puppy buyers, I had one new puppy owner tell me that they were scammed 2 times before finding Gooddog.com. Gooddog.com is a place where we can all feel safe!

Best experience ever! My breeder was incredibly responsive and still continues to be long after I have adopted my Peanut. I was nervous about going through the site and adopting this way so she worked with me. We even did a video chat so that I could see the dogs and pick one. This dog is precious and perfect in every way! If I decide to get a second one (which I may) I wouldn’t use anyone else other than Kimberly Lay!!!!

I have had nothing but positive interactions with potential buyers, with the transactions, payments, and the app overall. Everyone on staff is so helpful. They have amazing learning seminars and tutorials. With the help of Gooddog and my buyers with their positive feedback stories my breeding business has really taken off! I have been able to grow Irish Heart Bostons substantially.

The ease of communication and secure payment was the best. I also found my perfect dog and love the breeder. I am so happy a reputable local breeder recommended this site because I had never heard of it. I am so grateful.
