SUCH A BAD COMPANY

Didn't hurry up when helping me so then my test ran out of time. They didn't know what was wrong and made it my problem that they couldn't help me properly do my exam. The proctor I had didn't understand that when you reload your changes don't save and then I got kicked out of my exam because by the time they did that my last 15 minutes was long gone and past. Very hard to understand as English was not great, so didn't work to communicate very well.

Absolutely horrific experience. I had to schedule my test three times- every time it was canceled because they had no clue. On the fourth try they wrongfully terminated my exam now I have to appeal this to the organization giving the exam. What an ordeal! Would give 0 stars if possible. Undue stress and anxiety. Avoid at all costs- them and any company that uses them as a proctoring service.

The customer support people are nice enough and I wasn't on hold for more than a few minutes before they answered my call. Same with the techs, nice enough. But man, their product is garbage. It's terrible! I could not get their proctoring service to work on any of the multiple devices I tried, and that includes the laptop I take dental school exams on. I guarantee my dental school proctoring software is more hardcore than this stuff and my computer has never had issues with it. So what I'm saying is their software is trash. Nice people, but when they can't deliver on what they're supposed to, it doesn't matter much how nice they are.

I don’t like how they took control of my laptop and could talk to me. Vary invasive and also bossy. I get they don’t want cheating, but if my phones in the bag and I show you the bag zipped up don’t make me put it in the other room while I have to show you on the camera I’m walking to the room and putting it down like coke on that’s so invasive to me and my home like they see everything and have to see everything.

This has been the worst experience ever. Tried 3 times to take an exam. Keep changing proctors and support doesnt know what they are doing. I suggest you stay far away from this platform as it sucks. Will never recommend to anyone.

Words fail me in trying to write a coherent review of PROCTORU and their dreadful platform. I will try to be brief in my condemnation of of their utterly non- user friendly product. I am in shock and disbelief that any self-respecting company acts in such a high-handed manner. I had read the opinions on TRUST PILOT, was aware that 99% of respondents rated ProctorU as 'BAD'. However, like most reading this, I had no other option. Of course I write from my own personal and painful interactions with PU over the past two days. However, asstated, I had no option but to use their disjointed and disrespectful method of administering a couple of tests. The experience was between a nightmare and a farce! Firstly, I was scheduled to sit my 'exams' at 09:30hrs GMT, yesterday. I signed in to their 'system' at about 09:10 and ran their 'Equipment Test' . I received a Congratulations! message telling me that my computer and software were approved and that the tests could proceed as scheduled. Be warned! It didn't happen because the 'clowns' at ProctorU could not remotely access my computer! They blamed everything except themselves for the problems. Trying to communicate with ProctorU was , forgive my bluntness, -me, like trying to suck diarrhoea through a wet sock! There was nil sense of urgency, on their part, and even less empathy with my predicament . After about 3 hours of futile appeals for help, my 'exams' were rescheduled to 07:00 hrs GMT, today!!! I had expressly 'asked' that ProctorU ensure that they could acquire remote access to my computer before inflicted the same 'torture' on me today. They ignored my requests. Yep, you got it, Again, this morning, they claimed for about 2 hrs plus that there was a problem with my computer! I knew the problem was at their end . !!! Remember, my re-scheduled test was at that stage , hrs past! More blaming my computer for their inability to resolve a simple technical issue. I was then passed from 'chatbox' to 'chatbox' and from 'Billy to Jack' and back again, and given more and more ludicrous excuses for their lack of knowledge. I will demand a transcript of all my dealings with ProctorU. Eureka! after about another 4 hrs of listening to the various 'difficulties' they were having, they miraculously were somehow able to now get control my screen remotely . So far, so bad! But it gets even worse. When PU 'unlocked' the exam screen to me I was stressed out, tired and had lost all confidence in PU and their claimed 'Supports', especially on the technical side. About half way through my first paper, ...and without warning, ...these... people, disconnected me, claiming that their video link was not working! I had to phone ALABAMA, USA, and request that they re-establish their broken link and add time to my paper. The latter request they refused, saying that they had saved my work and that there was no loss of time!!!!! When they once more sorted their problems I was presented with a half finished piece of my work. I was expected to be grateful for their 'efforts' and to ignore their tactlessness and lack of respect and understanding? I completed my exams despite the outrageous and hopelessly badly managed, badly trained, badly administered ProctorU . Caveat emptor! I will lodge an OFFICIAL COMPLAINT about spending nearly 40 hours dealing with a company called ProctorU that is clearly unfit for purpose. 99% of people are not wrong. WARNING: I am aware that many of us have no option but to interface with ProctorU. However, It is time that each and everyone of us to put pressure on our respective schools, colleges, universities etc to STOP USING ProctorU!

Horrible online experience and was unable to do the online testing because their technology wouldn't work. Tried 2 different times, all three major browsers, etc, and continued to have issues. Had to cancel and use a different method.
