I understand the purpose of this company, however they need to reevaluate their guidelines. In order to take an exam, you must perform tests on your computer (to ensure all is functioning), have your camera on, show your ID, as well as give remote access of your computer to your proctor. It's extensive, but I guess reasonable (I guess). It becomes a problem when you have to do a full walkthrough of your entire room. They ask to see under blankets, pillows, every wall of the room, the floor or anything the proctor feels looks suspicious. They also ask you to remove anything on your bed, even if it's clothing or decor. I understand the whole purpose is to prevent cheating, but the privacy of the users should also be protected. Prior to meeting with my proctor, I was never made aware of the investigation that would be preceding the test. They need a disclaimer or more a relaxed procedure. It was an embarrassing and bad experience. They are messing with people's privacy.
