Worst site. I was completely prepared for my exam and followed the rules entirely, borrowed a computer that was compatible to their system and still failed to even begin taking the test. The help desk doesn't even answer questions properly and their calling center is even worse. Needless to say, I do not recommend.

Terrible product, terrible service. Ran me around for two hours doing the same things over and over again to resolve an issue on their end. Tech support was a laugh. Never ended up being able to take my test for my job.

I never took the exam but it said I did so now Im locked out of taking the test. ProctorU support was absolutely useless and just told me to contact my university (which i am not yet attending). My highschool banned the proctorU extension and rightfully so.

Worst ever. Tried to help a patron at my library do an exam. Waited over an hour for the proctor to arrive and then said we had too slow of internet which is ridiculous as we have incredible speeds. It sounded garbled as if they had the horrible connection and were blaming the test taker. Wouldn't ever recommend anyone use this service if they can avoid it.

If I could give this company a -0 that would still be to much! I had a scheduled exam and prepared myself for taking the exam through ProctorU. I go through the process of downloading the Applet they require you to have to get connected with the ProctorU. 1) The first proctor I had a session with got impatient when trying to load everything and abruptly ends our session with no explanation (he just right out leaves) and I'm left there. 2) I go back to the login page to connect with another person and I explain everything to them and they try to figure out what the problem is and they suggest that I use another computer. (Mind you I don't have another computer sitting around to use.) I suggested that I restart my computer. 3) After I restart my computer, I decided to try and reconnect with my exam that has elapsed by 45 minutes. I download that Applet thing again to connect with a 3rd proctor to try and assist me in taking my exam. I get someone and the same jargon was said about having excess to my computer. I vented my frustration about the previous proctor leaving in the middle of our session with no reasoning. 4. What happens next (you guessed it!) this proctor who has access to my computer abruptly ends the session with no explanation, (just gone) so now I'm thinking what the @#$%&! 5. Now over an hour has passed since my scheduled exam and I'm pretty pissed at this point, so once again I go back to the login page and chat with yet another person and I have to explain the whole thing again. This one says Oh,"It seems there is a problem with the Applet and your connection" I tell them I have a strong connection and there shouldn't be a problem. She says something about a tech problem too and they were unable to fix it. Be that as it may, I just want to take my exam. Then she says can you restart your computer or change computers......Noooo I can't change computers & yesss I can restart it yet again. 6. I restart my computer for a second time, I start a new chat with someone else and of course had to explain the entire scenario again. After I explain everything and that I'm now going into the second hour of this. They say to me "what seems to be the problem," now I'm certain I'm living in the Twilight Zone. Then they say to try and reconnect to your exam session again. 7. I once again reconnect and download the Applet thingy and get connected to a fairly knowledgeable and helpful proctorU person who further assists me in getting to my exam which is over 2 hours past my scheduled time. So we go through the motions and get stuck at the login phase and them finding my scheduled time (well 2 hours have passed so it's gone of course) so another tech person comes and assists and squeezes me in to take the exam. I am able to finally! At this point I am flustered and frustrated and annoyed. And when you are taking an exam this is not the emotional state you want to be in. It was a terrible experience and I am grateful to be able to leave feedback.

In my entire life (having 3 university degrees so going through many exams) I had never had such a bad experience. I had my UX Design exam yesterday which was taken under the ProctorU service. First of all, it took over 40 minutes for their technical team to set up my computer so imagine the stress level it increased, just right before the exam, when they were connecting to talk to me I could only hear noise and I was asking politely to speak slowly and loudly, still no chance to understand a word after I finally got connected to a different person. Don't remember her name something like Arbyll, Arbyl(?). I was only told to be quiet and don't eat during the exam. No one told me that I will need to ask for permission to use a toilet DURING 2 HOURS EXAM and the most important - I AM 8 MONTH PREGNANT! So after I left to use the toilet I've been treated as if I committed the worst crime ever. There was no need to be rude. Especially when I mentioned that I'm pregnant so I would appreciate some more empathy, especially from another woman. When Exam takes 2 hours it should've been mentioned about breaks for a toilet. I hope this woman sees my review someday.

Highly incompetent people. Wasted over an hour of my time between two advisors trying to verify my ID and find my exam voucher in their system. I would suggest all providers to avoid this organisation at all cost. On top of this, there is no standard process for what is allowed to be kept on the desk. One proctor asked to cover a computer screen, while other didn’t. One asked to remove pens from the desk and the other didn’t. For one proctor my driving license worked as a valid ID and for another it didn’t. Sort out your processes and procedures, this is just awful.

Remember that character, Proctor, from the Police Academy films? His ineptitude and stupidity? Amusing enough. Nothing amusing about this company. Tick the ineptitude and stupidity though. Proctoru must enjoy causing massive stress and anxiety to its 'customers'. My daughter has better IT skills than these people. I had two exams booked however due to the blinding ineptitude of the proctor the first exam was delayed by 1.5 hours so I had to reschedule the other exam, stressing that I'd have to pay the exorbitant fee again. At exam's conclusion when I enquired regarding this, the dialogue box promptly disappeared. The cat communicates more clearly. Writing an exam composition is an artform, deeply immersed in the beautiful interconnected flow of mind to hand and keyboard. Then the dialogue box flashes and I'm told to keep my eyes on the screen, the speaker that crackled to life with such poor language skills in a horrid, excited, high pitched tone. I'd love to know where they round up these people from. Then he asked to look via webcam around the room and under the table, totally destroying the precious link I had operating. Under the table?!!! Oh, of course, the giant speaking dictionary is under there. Mark my words here. One day soon there'll be such disruption caused to a student on an important exam by a proctor from this company that the outcome will result in an injury or worse from the stress, interference, disrespect and presumption of cheating. Even in that case, with a once brilliant mind laying prostrate on the keyboard, the proctor will still be chirping away to get the eyes back on the screen.
