I might just be the anomaly here writing a decent review. I got connected with a proctor immediately at the time I scheduled (on a Sat at 8:50am). The proctor, Grace, was very nice and appeared to know what she was doing getting my computer set up for the exam. I had no technical issues, everything was going smoothly until we tried finding the access to the exam on Blackboard. She even tried contacting the college but I figured no one would be available on a Saturday anyway. The proctor even apologized that she couldn't help more. No apologies needed as it seems my professor did not make clear where the exam could be found on Blackboard (if it was even made available). Now just the waiting game for my professor to respond to my email and then reschedule with ProctorU. I do hope to get another nice proctor like Grace.

I had two proctors during my test and the instructions they sent were very clear and straighforward. Both were polite and helpfull. My testing experience was good.

I took a TOEFL test and had no problems. I was very worried after reading all those horrible reviews on this site. It was a relief when I actually took the test. The proctors were polite and professional, the proctor switch during the test only took 10 seconds of my test time which was no problem at all, unlike schoolboys with bad grades lie in the reviews. Take the test and don't worry about what they say!

I have written two midterms with ProctorU. Everything went smoothly. Just make sure you have a plain room (at least around your desk, a big mirror, nothing on your desk but what you need, your phone out of the room, a PC with Google Chrome (extension already downloaded), and do the hardware check (I clicked on the "talk to someone option" and they went in to make sure it would work beforehand (only took 3 minutes). The first time it was seamless, and I was typing my exam in 5 minutes, the second time there was one small issue, but I was still writing in 10 minutes. I honestly think this service is amazing for my online exams. It is actually about 1/4 the cost that I would have had to pay, and that doesn't include the traveling 900km to the nearest of my university's recognized invigilators, not to mention room and board. Way more comfortable being in my own house with my comfy chair and thermostat set how I want. Considering how many people took exams during Covid-19 with ProctorU and there are only these few issues with some people (that seem a bit more like problems with their university's software or internet connection), anyone should use it.
