I had everything set for my exam. It took them over an hour to start the test, they had connection issues. This is not the worst, after I completed my test 4 hours later, I was shown a screen with 2 options, my proctor instructed me to choose the 'cancel scores' option. I was hessitant at first since I didn't want to lose the scores so that's why I asked her several times if it was really okay. I selected it and what's my surprise when 11 days go by, I should have my test results, I contact the TOEFL and they say I cancelled the scores and I need to pay to have them reinstated! Are you out of your mind?

I've used proctoru maybe 20 times and EVERY, SINGLE. TIME. There is a delay or problem with the site or proctor. The last exam was delayed for 4 hours. The one before that was delayed until the following day. They are a joke.

Why in the world do universities use this garbage service? There are hundreds of 1-star reviews here, yet ProctorU clearly refuses to improve their crappy system and customer service. Agents are incompetent and will keep transferring you to a new agent every so often. They constantly interrupt you during a TIMED exam! Don't tell me it's due to my connection issues when I have high-speed internet. Due to their incompetence and interruptions during the exam, my time kept running down and I lost 40 mins from a 2-hr exam. Even my university refuses to accept it's ProctorU's fault (Thomas Edison State Uni). I now have to retake the exam with the little time remaining. Absolutely horrible. Also, I paid for their priority service and even checked my system for compatibility; it said I'm ready to take the exam. The day of the exam, the agent tells me my system isn't compatible and they refused to refund me. If you've paid for an exam and this happens to you, or you're not satisfied with the service, call your bank and dispute the transaction. I got my money back. To universities/companies: STOP USING PROCTORU!

Dog crap platform. Takes me 30-45 minutes for the proctor to get everything set up every single time. For 2 years now. It's a complete joke. And they will interrupt your test for complete nonsense

The absolute worst. Makes the test taking process 1000x more stressful. Terrible company and deserves to go out of business.

THE WORST PROCTORING PLATFORM! This company wasted so much of my time 5 hours going back and forth on and off computer yet the technicians lost connection to me and don’t know wt* they’re doing. THIS STRESSED ME TF OUT! $275 and couldn’t take my test? Lmao they literally just took my money and robbed me.

As the title suggests, highly invasive software and they even had a database leak in 2020

ProctorU is terrible. Had difficulty running the program even though the software test said I was good. While "setting up for" the exam, the proctor made me unplug my entire desktop while it was running, which destroyed it. They interrupt you while testing every time your face accidently goes off screen.
