I just received my glasses today from glasses.com, and I really enjoyed dealing with them. They excepted my insurance ,which was great considering most other online store wanted cash up front, and I would need to get reimbursed from my insurance company. I ordered my glasses on 4/8/22, and received them on 4/14/22. Customer service was very nice. All of those working on my glasses , stayed in touch with an update by an email. I was worried due to the bad reviews that I seen on this site. But I'm glad that I gave them a try. Very pleased !

Giving 4 stars based on my experience alone. Took 1 star off simply because of all the other horrid reviews that caused me to panic after placing my order. Only reason I submitted an order with glasses.com in the first place was because they accepted my insurance. I assumed that since my insurance worked with them, that I didn't need to worry about ordering from them. After I placed my order, I wanted to see how long other customers had waited for their orders. That's when I found this website with all the awful reviews and I started to panic that I made a horrible mistake and I was mislead. I read many reviews and had a plan of how to go about fixing the situation if I ended up in the same boat as everyone else. I can confirm the only way to contact this company is by chat or email. But the latter seems to be your best chance, as I tried to chat with them on a Saturday when chat was supposedly open but it was not. I sent an email the same day and actually received a quick reply. I thought I'd be proactive and just send them my prescription for confirmation via email since a lot of reviews said that's something you may have to do even though I was never prompted to do so when making my order or after. As I said, they replied rather quickly and said they would send it to the necessary department, but said my glasses were already being made. I took this with a grain of salt due to the reviews and I had also just made my order the day before. Well come Sunday they had sent me a tracking number already. I check the tracking number but it appeared to not be in the system yet but I also wasn't sure if it ever would be. I had no choice but to wait. A few days later I check it again. It says it should be arriving on Friday. I'm thinking ok let's see, but if it does I still need to take it to someone to check the prescription because it may not be right according to other reviews. It arrived on Thursday afternoon. The glasses appeared to be correct, but the next day I take them to be checked at a Walmart Optical Center. The lady tells me they are spot on and the prescription is correct. So honestly at this point I can't complain. The glasses are in good condition. I don't know if I got incredibly lucky or what. Would I recommend them though? Not necessarily because the other reviews are incredibly concerning. I would not order from glasses.com unless you are using insurance. It will be easier to recover from that than loosing say $300 out of pocket. If you have issues and you used insurance, please report that to your insurance's Quality Control department. The only way I could have done that was via email, but call them and ask. I don't discount the other reviews in any way. I can only speak from my experience. My order was shipped to AL. The prescription was single vision. And the product number was 0AX3053.

My nightmare started on February 11, 2022. I have a very long string of chats and emails with this company and still have no glasses. The first order was "lost" in the mailroom. I reached out to them after 2 weeks to find out what the hold-up was. That is when I was given that excuse. They said they would replace them with expedited shipping on Feb 28th. They have requested a copy of the prescription 4 different times now. Then I get an email saying they received the prescription and it has been sent to the lab. Then the order says processing but will change every day and say the expected ship date is 2 days from now. WORST COMPANY EVER!!! I do not usually order from a company without reading reviews first, but I did this time. STAY AWAY!

Their customer service can only be reached by chat and they are rude and not helpful at all I received two different pairs and neither one had the correct prescription. I had to return both pairs. They send you a return label that cannot be printed. It took a long time to figure out how to get it to print. I have spent hours on chats. It’s ridiculous. Now the second pair that was returned has not been refunded and now I have no refund or glasses.

Can I give a zero? I am so aggravated with this company! I wish I had read the reviews, but I chose them because they accept my insurance. I ordered my glasses February 22, 2022. Initial shipping estimate was 3/1. We are now up to 3/14. Now I see reviews that the lenses are wrong when received. I will be cancelling the order, and reporting the terrible customer service to my insurance. They do not care one bit that I cannot see my computer screens and do not have backup glasses. Go elsewhere. Seriously, this is not the place to go.

they take a week then say they never got the script you emailed when placing the order and confirmed receiving then say its delayed then say we need your prescription or will cancel your order. no one knows what is happening no phone just crap chat with people who just repeat a line given them

I placed an order during the night during closed business hours. I contacted them through immediately by email, a few minutes after to cancel the order. I woke up this morning and chatted with Bailey B, to see if the cancellation was acknowledged. She stated the order is being processed and unable to cancel. I said okay, can you verify the prescription I had entered, so I can make sure it was correct. She then gives out the same answer it is already being processed and I do not verify prescriptions. What a terrible customer experience. This will be my last time I use this company.

As this company has no phone option by which to speak with a human, you are relegated to email exchanges or chat. It took over one week and three days to get one issue resolved by email for some frames I wanted to buy. Today, it took me four hours with countless chat associates to complete the purchase. The site has tons of glitches and things which you have to work around to properly place an order and so the need for unlimited chat customer service. The only reason I kept with it, is because they are the only company which had the frames I wanted. This provides for absolutely terrible customer service. If I could give negative stars, I would have. I pity the CSR's.
