We understand that pricing is an important factor, and we want to be transparent about how Givebutter operates. Our goal is to keep fundraising as accessible as possible, which is why the core platform remains free and runs on an optional tip model. We totally get that tipping isn’t for everyone, which is why donors can always choose to opt-out, and organizations have the flexibility to disable tipping and cover fees in whatever way works best for them. As for Givebutter Plus, it’s completely optional—never required—so organizations can decide whether the extra features are worth it for their needs.
