Ordering was easy, delivery was on time as promised, and baskets look nice from photos received from the recipient. During this time when the post office is not accepting packages for many countries, this is a great option to have for far-away loved ones.

The delivery was seamless but the basket itself was a severe disappointment. The winter choc basket on the website displays a range of premium chocolates but what arrived was a bunch of generic brands you can buy at the local supermarket. Not really worth the $200AU price tag. Yes they have a disclaimer but they also mention only replacing with premium products. A packet of timeout wafers and a bag of chips are not premium. EDIT: the customer experience team were really quick to address my complaint, contacting me on multiple occasions in an effort to come to a resolution. In the end I received a partial refund of $44AU. Obviously not enough to rectify the wrong but gotta give them credit for trying!

Dear Vanessa, Thank you once again for your feedback. We apologize the delivered gift did not match your expectations. As we agreed, to compensate for the inconveniences caused we have issued a partial refund. Besides, we also had a meeting with the local provider during which we discussed this case and worked on preventive measures to avoid same cases in the future. Thank you once again for reporting the case and allowing us to better our services. Sincerely, Giftbasketsoverseas.com Team

My son had just moved to Russia with his wife and I had been warned not to try sending gifts from overseas because they don't always make it, or they take forever to get there. I googled and came across this company. I chose the make your own basket and it arrived to the newlyweds almost immediately. They loved every item. And the items are quality choices. For my first order, the company added a box of chocolates. So nice! All communication was prompt and helpful. I will definitely be using this company again.

Over the last 3 weeks due to an error in order with Gift Baskets Overseas - my order could have been delayed. They did not only managed to deliver a gift to my son in the USA from me on time (I am working in Dubai), but kept both me and my son wrll informed every step of the way. They went out of their way to ensure the gift was delivered and frequently reassured me that it would be. This all has happened during the Covid19 epidemic and with such dedication from both the team but also the Head of Customer services Margaret herself ! Remaining a loyal long term customer, Ursula.

I bought a£125 winter breakfast in bed hamper there was not much food in it for the money and 50 percent of the food was not traditional breakfast food Probably only worth £70 Do not use this company they have a 50 percent mark up on all their baskets you will be able to find all their baskets online at other websites for 2 thirds of the price on their website their customer service is reasonable long wait for live chat yes they deliver on time but that is thanks to the carrier not gift baskets overseas

Vicky, thank you for your feedback, it is very important to us! You are absolutely right when saying that the delivered gift does not cost the full amount paid for the order. GiftBasketsOverseas is a company with many team members who work on providing 24/7 customer support on gift deliveries to 200+ countries around the World. Naturally, the price paid for each gift includes our profit, gift packaging, delivery costs, transaction and conversion fees, taxes, communication expenses. Nevertheless, your satisfaction is our first priority and we refuse to profit if our customers are not satisfied. With this, we are arranging a delivery of an extra gift to your recipient, as we discussed over email.

The gift basket I ordered for a relative overseas was not delivered on her birthday. Upon chasing up the order ( a day later) I was told that they couldn't contact her on the phone number. I don't even know where they got the number they quoted from- I didn't give it to them. Upon placing my order I did ask the basket to be delivered to the receipient's address with no prior notice or phone call and in case she wasn't home, leave it with her good friendly neighbours. Although the 80 year old is always at home. As it appears, the task was too difficult for them to accomplish. Or it was their local representatives that screwed up. I received half a dozen of emails from clueless consultants who obviously never read my previous emails or special requests with my order. They kept insisting that the recepients phone number (I didn't provide) was invalid. But the delivery wasn't even attempted!! I regret ever coming across this company. Not only did their unprofessional approach to business was a painful experience to me, the old lady failed to receive a little present for her birthday. I hope you people realise the emotional damage you have caused. Bad bad karma.

Hi Natasha, Thank you once again for your feedback. Once again I deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused. I have to admit, this time the error was on our end: our new representative confused the orders and a wrong phone number appeared in yours. I'd like to assure you this is a rare case in our practice and the trainee responsible for the mistake has been assigned a few more training hours so we make sure this will never happen again. As required by our inner policies, any representative working at an order must 100% read all the corresponding emails and order history before making any conclusion or taking any further actions. Since our company is reachable 24/7, naturally, different representatives are taking care of all incoming orders to speed up the process. I apologize that your order has not been processed up to our standards. With that in mind, I'd like to propose a delivery of a bouquet of 5 roses or a box of chocolates for Galina, free of charge for you. I know, a stitch in time saves nine, and even when the birthday passed, we still feel this would be the right thing to do. I totally understand that your confidence in our company is shattered now but I can assure you we have taken your feedback seriously.
