I have tried a couple of pet trackers before and I was very dissapointed, Findster is in another level, it has the super plus of not needing cellphone coverage, the radar is great, the activity tracker super nice and the real time location is amazing! the investment is worth it. The only thing I think is need to improve is the charger, the form is very inconvenient and the modules easily disconnect, so you have to let them very still

It works quite good, however within expected limits. It is suitable for walking the dog on plain, obstacle free area, but it is not "set & forget" watch keeper. It less is suitable for the agile hunting dog, because of limited range in dense forest and mountains. There it could lost connection fairly quick, often less than 400m. (Actually it is used by my dachshund exactly for that... for hunting... but he usually do not wandering far away.) My both units fail. And upon contacting Findster Technologies, at first charger was swiftly replaced by new, and as that didn't help the whole unit was replaced free of charge. (it was still under warranty, though) Suggested improvements: 1) Extend range with the stronger antenna. (perhaps only on guardian receiver) 2) following electronics advancements - watch guard module could be smaller (and then easier to carry on smaller dog breeds) 3) Combine with optional SIM slot (of user choice, prepaid), disadvantages (range) could be nearly eliminated that way 4) With the redesigned unit, collar adapter could be also redesigned to be more sleek as whole complete on a collar. 5) Change update interval to 5s (user selectable) to get more precise realtime position. 6) Redesign app on a phone - at least including track up map orientation (This could be fairly easy to implement.), option for track export? 7) As unit came only with USB cable and charger adapter and without specified data for acceptable voltage, and as there are many new fast chargers some kind of better fuse is required (My units get fried probably because of incompatibility of car adapter.)

We were looking for an accommodating GPS to secure our walks around our PET and after various investigates we found Findster. It works remarkable and it's so cool to have targets to achieve, distinguishing pieces of proof, and levels! It pushes you to walk more with our PET. The application is a lot done and the assistance is top of the line.

My dog Zeke and I go on mountain bike rides in the Utah desert. He’s a good boy. I worry about him falling into a crack or into a cactus chasing bunnies. This is just what I was looking for. Good Boy Findster!

We lost one of our Cocker Spaniels in September, believed "Stolen", during a morning walk. She has not been seen since. Both my wife and I decided we had to be more aware as to where our other dog Zara was - trackers seemed a sensible answer. We researched several and tried 5 which all used mobile signal in some form or other. I contacted the support of two based in the UK they were very helpful but agreed we live in a poor mobile signal area, where their trackers could not be relied on. All were returned to the supplier. I then came upon the Findster Duo+ during an online search. I sent my order in it arrived well packed and on time, it took a little while to set up once everything was showing CONNECTED on my smart phone and going outside when the GPS showed On. Off we went having pressed "Start Walk" the walk was similar to those followed when I tested the other trackers. We arrived home after 2 hours l signed, off at finishes walk on the smart phone and reviewing the walk look on the screen " PERFECT". All I needed to know where we went and more importantly where Zara went for some exploring. After a month our opinion has not changed its giving us much more relaxed trips in the Hampshire UK countryside. I am surprised having read some of the negative reviews and suspect the reviewers do not understand how GPS works. If there is a negative I would suggest a quicker response to support via telephone as well as email as is at present. Our family are all Spaniel people we have 5 dogs between 3 families, all are concerned for their dogs safety, my daughter and granddaughter are all having Findster Duo + trackers from me as their Christmas presents. Lucky Spaniels. That must say it all!

This is best product you can purchase if your dog runs away! It has saved my dog's life plenty of times. Gives peace of mind to my family. I cannot recommend enough!! Super easy to use and connect, no fees, accurate! Just the best! You pay what you get.
