For senior dogs, noticeable changes often take 3–6 months of consistent, twice-daily use, as AuraPets works by gradually supporting eye cell nourishment and reducing long-term oxidative stress rather than producing overnight results. While AuraPets can’t reverse advanced conditions, many customers use it to help slow progression, improve comfort, moisture, and overall eye health over time. Hi Tracey, It’s completely normal not to see visible changes yet after just a month — AuraPets works on a cellular level, so most pups need closer to 90 days of consistent morning + evening dosing before the improvements in clarity really start showing. The reduced tearing you’re seeing is actually a good early sign that her eyes are responding. As for the taste — yes! Many dogs find it a little bitter or “vitamin-y”, which is why some pups shake their head after you give it. It’s safe, just not the best flavor. Giving a treat afterwards is totally fine and is actually what a lot of pet parents do.
