I’m in between OBGYN providers at the moment due to turnover at my clinic. I can’t see the new provider until September, but needed a prescription filled in the meantime. Since the provider hasn’t seen me in-office yet, she refused to fill the prescription. My PCP was also unhelpful, stating I’d need my OBGYN to fill it. It is a standard provera prescription; nothing out of the norm. I went back and forth with my provider offices for two weeks stating my case. It took GeneralMedicine.co less than 2 hours to write me the needed prescription so I could receive the continuity of care I deserved. I’m so indebted to GeneralMedicine.co for being available for me. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience. Thank you, Dr. Olshausen!

My in person primary care doctor dropped the ball on getting my Ozempic pre-authorized with my new insurance, and essentially gave up after the first denial. I was taking it for type 2 diabetes. I optimistically scheduled an appointment with General Medicine instead. Within a few hours I not only paid a lower copay, I was prescribed Mounjaro, which is better suited to treat my type 2 and high cholesterol issues. On top of that, I only had to pay $25 for the rx. I’m beyond impressed with the service and care I received and honestly feel it’s better than any in person visit I’ve had. I plan to keep using this service for my other prescription needs!

The process was easy and the team was extremely helpful. Dr. Jebran was attentive and thorough and ensured I had the right treatment plan. The Doctor and his team consistently followed up with me throughout my treatment to check in on progress and to answer questions.

After an appointment 2/18 and conforming I had diabetes, the Doctor created a care plan that included Dexcom G7 15 sensors to track glucose levels. We also discussed that it would require Prior Approval from Insurance. I received me meds that were also prescribed at that apartment in 2 days (Amazon Pharmacy) but no G7 After waiting some more time I reached back out to General Medicine (GM) re this and thew response I got was something, Ike It's being processed by Amazon After waiting a couple more days, and not seeing it on Amazon's portal, I contacted Amazon Pharmacy to be advised that they had never received a prescription for it. I then called Medicare, who also advise they had also never received a request for otherization or Prior Authorization. Medicaid also a\greed to reach out to GM with the details needed. I reached back out GM with a breakdown of my findings to be told that Amazon had received the prescription. (I confirmed again that they hadn't) Finally after 3 da ys GM received the Prior Authorization Approval and advised that the prescription had been resubmitted to Amazon. Typically when GM submit a prescription to Amazon I see it on their portal within about 30 minutes, After several hours, it was still not on the portal. I reached out to GM again and after considerable delay received a response that they had now submitted it and would see it within an hour on the portal, which it subsequently did. It's then that I found out that they had submitted a prescription got the Dexcom G7 10, not the 15 as agreed in my care plan and at my appointment back in February I had started to move all of my medical needs over to GM. Now I am not so sure that this a good idea

I’ve only had one experience but it was positive. They helped when teledoc couldn’t and the urgent cares weren’t taking anymore patients. I requested and got and appointment all within an hour on a Thursday evening around 7:30pm. My prescription was sent in that evening (they pharmacy didn’t get it in stock for a week but that’s not their fault). The doctor was kind and caring. Based on this one experience I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
