I have had my GE Profile Fridge for 4 month. The first few days I had the fridge it did not start making ice. We have had 5 service call with 4 parts replace including the main board. After the last call we got 82 ice cubes and once again it stopped making ice. I am finally after 4 month am getting a new fridge. This decision by GE to replace the fridge should have happened much sooner. This will be the last GE Appliance that I purchase. The service locally was as good as they could be by replacing the parts that the main centre suggested. But 5 service calls and still no working icemaker is not acceptable.

We ordered a new GE dishwasher to…
We ordered a new GE dishwasher to replace a working 10-yr-old GE dishwasher. We had been alerted during a repair that it would fail sooner rather than later. We hoped to avoid being without a dishwasher for an extended period. The new dishwasher arrived 2 weeks after ordering it. The delivery guys turned on the new machine but didn’t check through all the cycles. They took away our working appliance. Soon after we found out the new machine didn’t work. Another was ordered. Two weeks without a working dishwasher. Just what we tried to avoid. The next one arrived with a damaged front. They took that away and the non-working new one. Now we had an empty space. I spoke with GE about the problems. Not just the inconvenience of no dishwasher but the time spent waiting for deliveries. I was told a price adjustment would be made after a successful delivery. Third try, again a damaged front. 4th try, GE said it would be White Glove Service. All deliveries should be handled this way. The box was opened before the dishwasher was even brought into our home. Thankfully it was undamaged and runs. I’ve waited for the reimbursement discount for our wasted time and inconvenience. GE is silent.

I am dealing with the worst GE service ever…
I am dealing with the worst customer service on Earth
I am filing this complaint regarding GE Appliances and the handling of Consumer Relations Case 22880705 involving our GE Café built-in double wall oven.
My wife and I purchased a GE Café double wall oven new, and the appliance failed while still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. What should have been a relatively straightforward warranty repair or replacement has now turned into approximately five months of phone calls, emails, repair attempts, conflicting information, broken promises and extraordinary frustration.
We have had more than 10 telephone conversations with GE, exchanged dozens of emails, provided every document requested, coordinated with GE's appliance repair company, made the appliance available for service, selected replacement options and repeatedly followed up with GE.
Despite all of this, as of September 15, 2026, we still do not have a working replacement oven.
The problem originally began in April 2026. On May 9, my wife contacted the appliance dealer because our GE Café double oven had stopped functioning. There was power to the appliance and no electrical issue with the house. On May 11, the dealer confirmed in writing that the appliance was still covered under GE's one-year manufacturer's warranty.
From there, we began the GE warranty process.
There were repair attempts involving Greczyn Brothers Appliance Repair & Service, a company working with GE on the repair. By July, the problem still had not been resolved.
On July 14, we supplied GE Consumer Relations with the original purchase invoice at their request. On July 16, GE Case Manager Tameika confirmed receipt and stated that she was waiting for the servicer's diagnosis and information regarding the parts installed.
After additional follow-ups from us, GE finally provided Consumer Relations Case Number 22880705 on July 21.
By July 26, I emailed GE explaining that we still had not received a meaningful resolution and that the situation had become unacceptable.
he process continued.
Eventually, we were led to believe that GE was replacing the appliance.
On August 12, however, we learned that the replacement apparently had not shipped because our existing oven model was no longer in production. This was surprising because we had been under the impression that the replacement process was already moving forward.
We then cooperated with GE yet again to select a comparable replacement.
On August 19, GE informed us in writing that a request had been submitted for an upgraded exchange.
On August 20, our GE case manager specifically stated in writing that she had gotten our request approved for an exchange, although the particular upgraded model requested had been denied.
I immediately responded and asked what the price difference was between the approved replacement and the model we wanted. I specifically told GE that we were willing to pay a reasonable difference ourselves because our family had already been without the oven for far too long.
GE Consumer Relations then sent us a link to a Café Professional Series 30-inch Smart Built-In Convection Double Wall Oven.
From our perspective, we were finally approaching a resolution.
Unfortunately, that was not the case.
We subsequently received numerous telephone communications from GE indicating that our claim was approved, everything was all set, the replacement was being processed, and the oven was on its way.
These were not vague assumptions on our part. We repeatedly spoke with GE representatives and were repeatedly led to believe that the replacement process was complete and that we were simply waiting for delivery.
Another problem then arose concerning delivery and installation.
On August 27, GE informed us that its delivery company had rejected the delivery because the delivery company would not uninstall and install a hardwired appliance in Massachusetts.
Instead of allowing this to create another prolonged delay, we helped GE solve the problem.
Greczyn Brothers, the appliance repair company that had already been involved with our oven and attempted repairs, agreed to receive the replacement appliance at its facility in West Lebanon, New York. They would inspect the replacement for freight damage, bring it to our home, remove the defective oven and install the replacement.
Greczyn Brothers confirmed this arrangement directly in the same email chain with GE.
From here things got worse and we have been told as of Sept 15th our unit is out of warranty now as we are over 1 year of ownership with our and I quote from them "lovely GE appliance" WTH I can't make this up.

Horrific, buy anything else.
Horrific. Purchased three appliances of theirs, the fridge arrived damaged and dented, and filled with frost in both freezer and fridge, meanwhile the dryer shredded a >$1000 Frette bedspread on the first load, and their useless customer service gave me the runaround and wasted my time and refused any kind of compensation. Avoid at all costs, I didn’t realize how lousy GE quality is and how useless their policies would end up being. Yuck.

DO NOT BUY A GE DEHUMIDIFIER
I purchased a GE higher end Dehumidifer with a pump and drain. I got one year out of it and ofcourse the warranty is up. This unit was only used seasonally in Michigan during the summer months only, the next summer it does not collect water. No way to repair it either! GE should extend their product warranty on a product that is only used part time. DO NOT BUY a GE dehumidifier! I would love to get a replacement from them to satisfy their loyal customers.

I seriously wish I could leave zero…
I seriously wish I could leave zero stars! Purchased a brand new washer. I’ve had nothing but issues out of it since I purchased it. I’ve had at least six technicians at my house when the last one came, he refused to wear booties or take his shoes off, Bodewell there’s supposedly technicians that are supposed to fix things don’t fix anything. They draw it out into your #Warranty is almost up and then they refuse service. I’ll never purchase another GE appliance again.! the gentleman was rude to me and nobody even wants to see the video because he’s on video. It’s a sad company. It’s sad how Customer Service has just really went to shit.
