I had ordered the wrong size shoe they fixed it before the order shipped.

Delivery was a bit slow but minimal packaging appreciated. Purpose of this purchase was to get a work shoe that was also comfortable for my commute cycle-train-tube-walk. It involes a lot of walking and stairs and regular oxfords are a bit hard for the feet and knees! Now I paid over £60 for these which isnt a lot in the scheme of things but they dont quite live up to my hopes. Positives is they are well made and look fine for work. However the sole and inner isnt really that cushioned - its better than my old shoes but certainly nothing like a trainer. Still searching for that trainer-oxford! My biggest disappointment though is they are made of artificial material not leather. I'm wearing them to work for a while to see how they perform but already they feel just a bit over warm. Ive seen the same shoe all over the place so this is not a gatsby exclusive and Im assuming they are made by the 1000s in some chinese factory. Makes them seem less of a bargain. Love the concept but I think a little more is required to produce what I am after. Still searching for Leather + trainer style construction + oxford look!

I was trying to adjust my order to insure that the three pair shoes I ordered were different colors. I got no help whatsoever.

Packaging was bad... could ship in a sturdy box instead of big envelope

I bought shoes, they didn’t fit. I sent a message requesting how to do a exchange.

The number I was given by the representative to contact the carrier via email didn’t work. So not only am I still without the two pairs of shoes I ordered over a month ago for a conference this weekend, but I’m also out of the money I paid for them. The original tracking link only showed that the order had shipped, with no further updates. After I reached out by email, the representative sent me a working link, which showed the order was marked as delivered on April 7th—but there was no verification, no photo, and no signature provided. In my opinion, your company needs to do a much better job selecting and working with reliable carriers. I can’t review the shoes because I never received them, but I can review the service—and unfortunately, it was terrible. I'm very disappointed. I also strongly suggest providing a working customer service phone number. Hiding behind emails makes it even more frustrating for customers trying to resolve an issue.

Purchased 2 pairs of these shoes in April of 2024. I wore each pair less than 10 times. The brown pair is fine, but the black pair is not. The sole came off of the back, and also at the side. I reached out to Gatsby about this issue, and they would not do anything because it was outside their 60 day warranty period. I’m 41 years old and have bought many shoes in my life. Never have I had a pair fail after less than 10 wears. The fact they wouldn’t do anything is disturbing. I’ll never order from this company again. EDIT: After posting a 1-star review, they did finally send me a replacement pair, so I’ve updated this review. It still shouldn’t have taken a negative review to get them to stand by their product. Nevertheless, we will see if they last any longer.

I had an eyelet of an gently worn leather boot break away. Angelina reached out to me almost immediately, asked for some pictures, and if I want to replace or refund the leather shoe. I sent the requested information and wanted a replacement as I really like the shoe, it is comfortable, I have received multiple compliments and I think it is a quality product. Angelina upon receiving my information put in for a replacement. I have purchased 3 shoes from this company and very pleased.
