Really easy to get care quickly
Really easy to get care quickly. The doctor was very nice and understanding and listened to my concerns.

Traditionally the healthcare system has been one-size-fits-some. Galileo was built to reimagine what modern healthcare should be from the ground up. One of the fastest growing tech-enabled medical practices in the country, Galileo is designed to deliver high-quality, affordable care for everyone. Through an easy-to-use app, patients can receive on-demand, 24/7 virtual care care for most conditions, from the common cold and hair loss, to mental health and diabetes. After downloading the app, patients are able to immediately connect with Galileo’s team of medical experts and get help, fast. Through the app, they can also receive prescriptions, order labs, or when needed, be referred to an in-network specialist. Care is delivered via chat, video, or audio, allowing patients to skip the doctor’s office and receive care, wherever they are. Galileo’s doctors are board-certified clinicians from the country’s leading medical schools, trained to deliver clinically excellent care to everyone. Galileo employs full-time doctors across primary care, specialty care, and mental health; with 30% of its clinical staff being fluent in both English and Spanish. Clinicians work together closely and coordinate their efforts, which allows for increased accuracy and the best clinical outcomes for patients. The Galileo service currently operates 24/7 across all 50 states.

I really appreciate such an intuitive interface. The entire process was quick and easy. I was able to create my account, get a virtual appointment, and pick up my prescription all within the span of a couple hours.

During our video appointment I felt that she was taking my concerns seriously and she had wonderful suggestions and I felt that she took the time to answer any and all questions. Definitely recommend Galileo!

The doctor listened to what my concerns were, then gave advice and promised to look into any further options to any questions I had

We strive to bring you the best care, thank you!

Galileo Health is the absolute WORST medical organization I have ever had to deal with. It's been nothing but problems. Screwing up my Rx dosage, sending blood tests to the wrong place and delaying my Rx refill for over a week until after my account expired are just a handful of the many issues I've had with them. It sounds great, in theory, but in practice, they are HORRIBLE.

Hey Josh, we're sorry for the confusing follow-up in your case. We were able to write you that prescription -- please let us know if there's anything else we can clear up for you.

It's great but basic outline of care, it would be better if it took time to listen better. And the claims take atleast a month to show on insurance

I used Galileo for roughly nine months and ultimately decided to return to my previous brick-and-mortar primary care provider. A few specific issues drove that decision. **Refills.** My former in-person PCP would write maintenance prescriptions for a full year, so I returned once annually. Galileo generally won't do this. For a patient managing several medications, that means repeated consultations just to keep stable, long-standing prescriptions filled. It turns routine maintenance into a recurring administrative burden. **Abandoned consultations.** On more than one occasion, a clinician opened a consultation in the middle of the night, asked a question I had already answered on the intake form, and then closed the consult before I woke the next morning—leaving no treatment, no plan, and no direction. The asynchronous model failed completely in these instances. **Reflexive specialist referrals.** Galileo frequently pushes patients toward specialists, even for maintenance medication refills. I cannot reasonably see (and pay for) a specialist for the rest of my life simply to refill medications that are safe, effective, and well tolerated for me. This defeats the purpose of having a primary care provider at all. Telehealth can work well, but for ongoing management of chronic conditions and stable medication regimens, my experience with Galileo was inefficient and at times unresponsive. I've gone back to brick and mortar care.
