Traditionally the healthcare system has been one-size-fits-some. Galileo was built to reimagine what modern healthcare should be from the ground up. One of the fastest growing tech-enabled medical practices in the country, Galileo is designed to deliver high-quality, affordable care for everyone. Through an easy-to-use app, patients can receive on-demand, 24/7 virtual care care for most conditions, from the common cold and hair loss, to mental health and diabetes. After downloading the app, patients are able to immediately connect with Galileo’s team of medical experts and get help, fast. Through the app, they can also receive prescriptions, order labs, or when needed, be referred to an in-network specialist. Care is delivered via chat, video, or audio, allowing patients to skip the doctor’s office and receive care, wherever they are. Galileo’s doctors are board-certified clinicians from the country’s leading medical schools, trained to deliver clinically excellent care to everyone. Galileo employs full-time doctors across primary care, specialty care, and mental health; with 30% of its clinical staff being fluent in both English and Spanish. Clinicians work together closely and coordinate their efforts, which allows for increased accuracy and the best clinical outcomes for patients. The Galileo service currently operates 24/7 across all 50 states.

very helpful and doctor listens.

Convenient and works for me, but not going to be good for everyone. You'll get a different doctor every time, so sometimes you may be answering similar questions for different people. But like I said, it’s convenient if you just need basics like annual labs orders (to complete at Quest) or prescription refills or anything that can easily be handled virtually (which is a lot). Response time can vary, sometimes its fast and sometimes it takes a few days.

It's a good way to be able to fill your prescriptions in between dr.'s visits but I gave you a 4 star review because I was given a referral to a company that is no longer in business and when I tried reaching out to have you guys fix the referral for someplace that is still in business I haven't heard anything back from you all yet and it's been since this morning when I alerted you guys to the issue with my referral.

Hi there, we've probably already answered your message in the app by now, but always feel free to call our 24/7 patient support line at 888-613-4254 and we'll get started on your new referral right away! We're so sorry that the first option wasn't a viable one. Rest assured, you're not stuck with it. We appreciate the opportunity to correct our work and make sure you have the most satisfactory option for your continuing care.

Very helpful to be able to see a doctor facetime, and not have to leave the comforts of home when you are sick. Everyone who I dealt with seemed genuinely concerned with my well-being.

I wasn't feeling well and my local physician was booked and unable to schedule an appt for me to come in. So I decided to try Galileo, I wasn't sure what to expect being a first-time user, but it was easy and quite quick. I filled out the appropriate forms, provided some details of my symptoms and submitted my info. Within about 20 mins, a doctor had reviewed my case file and contacted me via video chat. I was feeling like garbage, so being able to 'see' the doctor, discuss my health concerns and get diagnosed from the comfort of my own home was wonderful. On top of that, the whole process was super easy! Galileo is conveniently available 24/7 and best of all, it didn't cost me anything additional :). Win-win! The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is b/c my medical concern was fairly minor; I am not sure how a conference call medical appt would work for a more severe health concern. Otherwise, this experience was really great!

I started using them after switching health plans (from Kaiser, where it's easy to schedule everything and pretty timely) to UHP (where you have to wait months to get an appointment and scheduling still often requires you to wait on hold for a landline). I figured I'd give Galileo (which is offered through UHP) a shot, and have been pretty happy so far. They are definitely willing to treat things Kaiser wouldn't (e.g., hair thinning in a 40-something woman). They are also very quick on their response times and good at following up. My only complaint so far: you may end up working with several providers, and they don't seem to have a centralized location for health info. So like all three of them will ask you for copies of the same tests, blood pressure readings, etc. I thought one of the benefits of telehealth was that they would all be working off the same info, but it's still pretty fragmented. I'm kind of up in the air with whether I'll stick with Galileo or go back to Kaiser, but I definitely think they're worth a try.
