Function HealthReviews of functionhealth.com

Excellent partnership with Quest Diagnostics, timely results, great website, valuable information and support.

Very pleased with my first year with functional health. My lab visits have been super smooth and results in a timely manor. Keep up the good work, looking forward to another year with Functional Health.

I like the detail of my results and the tailored foods to eat and avoid lists, however my lists contain some conflicting information. For example, bananas are on both lists.

First of all your initial efforts provided break through infrastructure to actually make it possible for individual patients to start their journey toward taking control of their own health. The fact that you continually provide additional break through improvements is even more impressive. Things like reconizing the need to add additional bio markers to the lab work is important so well done. My labs pointed out I had some major issues because of my elevated hsCRP and homocysteine levels so as I began to study possible causes for this I started to suspect I might have a MTHFR gene mutation. So I asked my primary care doctor at Mayo if they would check this at my next physical. They said insurance would not pay of it and it is not something they normally do for physicals. So, since I now have more control of my health I went to Quest Labs to see if they could check for this gene mutation. They could now do that but it would cost $100 for that test. This was a no brainer so I quickly told them to "Hook me up". The results came back positive for the MTHFR mutation with the C677T variant. Functional Medicine gave me a whole new outlook on what I needed to do but now I had to figure out what were the best supplements and nutrients to help me correct the gene mutant problem. Well, guess what the next great break through improvement Functional Health implemented? SUPPCO so now I not only updated my stack quality but also was able to find the right products to work around the gene mutation so the quality of life has improved significantly...Is that control or what? Recommended Improvement: Now the next break through improvement that should be addressed is the issue of taking multiple sources of data (e.g. my Mayo lab work and quest lab work) so you can have one plan that is able to combine the disease control data with the Health control data that helps eliminate the confusion caused by an induvidual patient trying to interpret such different approaches to medical care.

While I like the idea and the overall concept, the execution was a failure. Maybe they will improve.

Function Health is the best money I spend on my health all year. Their portal is easy to use and understand, they continue to add more value through services offered, and the information has allowed me to take ownership over my own health data in a way that no doctor has ever enabled me. I love the depth/breadth of the biometric data tested. If the function team reads this review, I'd recommend adding mycotoxin testing, and functional medicine/wellness practitioner live consultation/coaching/services where you could enable them access to your data through the platform to get questions answered and health coaching.

Very happy with the entire process. All went very smoothly, from ordering/scheduling/testing/final report. Function kept me appropriately updated about the timeline of final report, as well as sent great reminders about testing dates, etc. and what to expect and what to do to prepare for actual blood work. Blood work tests went very well. There is only one suggestion I have and that is to give a heads up as to which visit the urine test will take place. I am very happy to give Function 5 stars - it was a great experience all around. I plan to continue using It.

Function Health has been amazing in my health journey. I've changed my eating habits, and in the last few months, I've had an so much more energy. I found out my hormones are off balance and I got on HRT and I'm so much happier and I have energy like I did in my 20s. Find out why you’re feeling bad or just curious about your health. It can make a world of difference for a better you and life.
