The detail is amazing and very comforting. It does validate my GP. However gives me recommendations he did not. It gives better clarity and focus on issues I need to address immediately. And now I do not wait an entire year to visit him to see how I am doing. I can get a Function update instead. The price is highly reasonable. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants more details with food and supplement recommendations tailored for you based on your Biomarkers.

I've used Function for about a year now and it's been nice. I love the detailed bloodwork and going in for labs is quick and easy. It's particularly gratifying to be able to visualize the trends as they develop as you gain more results over time. They also give really nice, detailed descriptions about the biomarkers being tested. The clinician notes are a great, but basic informative resource. Their disclaimer is true, it's really not a replacement for a PCP. Sometimes I wish the notes didn't feel as "generic", or maybe it's an AI flavor I'm noticing - the notes SAY a lot, but when you boil it down you are still left wanting a little more substance or interpretation. Overall, as someone who is mostly healthy, I find the subscription is a great value - I particularly like that extended cholesterol biomarkers are included in the standard membership. Their add-on tests have also helped me realize that I've got several substantial food sensitivities I was not previously aware of. I joined when the annual membership was still like $600/year, so it's nice to see something has actually gotten more affordable. Lastly, I feel their tech support is mostly reliable. It's via chat/texting which works for our family. I'm dealing with one question this week though that has me slightly disappointed (bought a promo add-on test, still need to schedule it, but it's not showing anywhere in my portal even though the receipt of payment was emailed to me). Their chatbot said on July 1st that someone would respond to me via email within 24 hours, and it's now July 3rd with no answer yet - so, they do have small hiccups, but it's not enough for me to quit using their services.

fast and easy to get the lab work for basic overall health!

I've been taking various supplements over the years but didn't truly know what was working or what I really needed until I signed up for Function Health. When I received the lab results back in January I discovered a lot of positive news about my health alongside a few markers that needed my attention. Such as low ferritin levels which I wouldn't have guessed in a million years. And that I've been actually over supplementing in Vitamin D. Now I just completed my second mid year test and are very happy to report that all of my negative markers are moving in a positive direction and have a much clearer picture of my overall health and which supplements, diet and lifestyle habits I need to focus on. Thank you to Mark Hyman and rest of the team that created this service for anyyone seeking an indepth analysis of their health at a very affordable price. I am very greatful for this insight into my health and highly recommend Function Health to all of my friends and family.

It was extremely easy process to navigate the app and to schedule my blood draws. The amount of detailed information regarding my results was just as impressive.
