Very easy to fill out health questionnaire and set up the blood test. I was very impressed at how much information was covered and it has really opened my eyes on what areas I need to be working on to improve my life.

Well organized health detail. Function Health properly plans and executes with ease, the preparation, testing and after-care of its members. They are also forthcoming with results and guidance. One gets a detailed and excellently professional explanation of one's metabolic status.

This is by far the best bang for your $$$ that I know of! Not only do you get many lab and urine tests done (that most doctors will never check), but the clinical notes given are very detailed and so easy to understand. The protocol describes everything you need to do to improve your whole body health. As someone who has been seeing a Functional Medicine Doctor for 4 years I know how expensive all this information can be. Just the lab tests alone are way less expensive. I’ve paid (after insurance coverage) about 4 times more than this. I highly recommend Function Health Labs.

The app is nice, booking lab visits is easy, viewing results and clinician reports is good. But what do I do with this information? I like that the app offers foods and supplements to use and those to avoid, but the disclaimer is that they are not medical doctors and do not offer medical advice… you need to refer to your doctor for more help! The reason I use Function is because I don’t get complete and or comprehensive help from a general practitioner, nor do I trust their help. So why on earth would I go to them for further advice? For me, this is where Function falls through. I now must book a visit with a functional medicine doctor to go through the results. I am also learning that there are tests that aren’t quite complete, ie- T3 and T4 are run but not the reverse T3. While I like having these lab results, I would really like to see an option for more in depth guidance (for an added fee?) from practitioners through Function. I could buy supplements all day but if I do not address the higher priority items first, I will never get better health. I don’t want to address the symptoms or throw darts at a board, I want to address the big picture and this is the reason I chose Function Health, but do not feel like that is what I am getting.
