Unacceptable conduct
My father passed away Christmas Day. While I am currently situated across the globe in the US, I was unable to attend the funeral and immediately ordered a wreath to be delivered on 12/26/15 as Flora2000's website lead me to believe (order # FLO:1456974 for $175.73). An email expressing the importance of the delivery was sent to Flora2000 immediately after placing the order, explicitly providing additional information. The wreath WAS NOT delivered on 12/26/15 or 12/27/15, or 12/28/15, or 12/29/15, or 12/30/15, or 12/31/15, or 1/1/16, 1/2/16, 1/3/16, 1/4/16, 1/5/16, 1/6/16, or 1/7/15 (today's date). I'm assuming Flora2000 did not even attempt to make arrangements with a local floral shop regarding my order. After numerous inquires regarding the order status and expressing my dissatisfaction, an email was received from Flora2000 on 12/30/15 stating that they were going to look into the issue and find a solution. On 1/4/16 my credit card was charged the full amount of $175.73 although the product was never delivered and the order was never fulfilled. I contacted them by email regarding the credit card charge unsuccessfully. I have tried calling their phone numbers but are either unavailable and/or suspended. As you can image, I've been mourning my father's death and this conduct from Flora2000 is, to say the least, deplorable, given the circumstances. I will let future customers draw conclusions from my unfortunate experience with Flora2000. Whether I will be able to recuperate my $175.73 loss and after how long, is hard to tell. However, nothing will make up for the loss of my father and disappointment inflicted by Flora2000 under these unfortunate circumstances.
