I think I would pass on flexsteel. Our recliner is not working, switch or motor. No response from flexsteel with the dealer who we bought it from, not indication of when the parts will come in, no response to the furniture store when we ask them to ask about parts.

Purchased my sectional from an excellent retailer with top notch customer service. Disappointed the sectional had no dust cover as it is dropping dust and tiny wood slivers on my floor. From what I understand it is because Flexsteel wants to show off the blue Flexsteel frame. But it also shows that they use very inexpensive pieces of wood to build the balance of the frame. In fact the right side of my left sectional, right under the cushion drops down 2" across 15" of the frame, an obvious wood cut error. I would expect that quality control would catch the error, and replace the piece of wood, but what they did was just put the cushioning and leather over the top of it and leave it as it was. It appears the "true" entire package warranty is only a year. For this reason I was hesitant to add a dust cover as it might invalidate the warranty, however, the dust got to be too much. I also have dogs and can only imagine the dog hair that could collect throughout the frame over the years. It was easy to do with a staple gun and dust cover fabric from Amazon, only about a $9 investment, well worth it. The comfort weight and sturdiness of the sectional is quite good. The leather is beautiful. It is just disappointing that a company with such brand recognition is no longer paying attention to the details.

They market in stores and their site how great their Warranties are but in the end it is a bait and switch lie! Have a electric recliner purchased less then two years ago, still making some payment as purchased a love seat as well that is electric. Recliner stopped working something electrical. Now their site said 5 years on electrical, so figure I am all good. Send a email no response after days and days. Looking around their site I see there is no customer service info and general info like a phone number. Have to dig through the internet to get a phone number and when I call they are shocked as they do not deal with customers. They have and promote a warranty as part of their brand and hire price tag, but do not support customers. Was told have to call the store. Call the store and they only support within a year. So find out that this warranty is useless as I have to find a repair tech, pay for all labor and hopefully Flexsteel will provide the parts for free. How can you hole brand be about your Lifetime Warranty if you do not service or even help the customer. It a bait and switch LIE. Avoid Flexsteel!

We purchased two very expensive Flexsteel leather couches. Within 1 year, the leather has started to flake off. I contacted Flexsteel, and they told me that there was nothing they could do. When I tried to respond, the customer service woman had blocked me. Flexsteel used to be good furniture, but it certainly isn't any more. We were warned by another furniture store, and we should have listened.

Last fall I purchased my third Flexsteel recliner and my second Arlo model. I paid around $1500.00 which should buy a quality piece of furniture. This was not the case. Day one, I was dissatisfied with the way the recliner looked. One of the arms was smooth and sewn correctly and the other had puckers and was sewn crookedly. Within an hour, I contacted the store and explained the problem. They said they had to follow protocol and have a furniture repairman come evaluate. This took weeks, he said he would contact the company. Flexsteel agreed to remake the arm and after months, he came to repair it. The repair was worse than the original and he did nothing to fix the sloppiness of the chair. He even told my husband that he knew we would not be happy with it. Went back to the store owner who tried to get Flexsteel to agree to a new chair but they refused. I have been told recliners are for comfort, not looks. I disagree. I have two other Flexsteel recliners in my home, one of them is the same Arlo model. They do not look like this one. I have been told recliners are not meant to look good, they are for comfort and that maybe its a new person in the factory that does not sew well yet. For the money I paid I think it should look good too. Very disappointed in a brand that I have been faithful to in the past.

Flex Steel electric Sofa recliner seat cushions are compressing after 1 month of use. We already had more foam support added from warranty service but it did not fix the issue. There are many complaints about Flexsteel being made with inferior materials. This couch on show room floor seemed very comfortable. Now it is getting more and more uncomfortable. And you can never get comfortable lying on the sofa due to how irregular the cushions are considering the center cushion on non reclining portion of the sofa is engineered differently from recliners. I wish I had read these reviews before I bought it. I bought the Model 62L, Model number 20SH 71SW 22SD 26AH 70OD 8WC.

So disappointed on how Flexsteel has handled a problem with their leather fabric. Bought Broadway Power Loveseat in Shale which turned 2 years old on December 27th 2023. The company referred me back to the vendor who no longer carries Flexsteel. I went to a reputable leather furniture dealer and showed him the pictures. His store sells 90% Flexsteel products and said he had never seen my issue before and in his opinion felt it was a manufacturer defect. Flexsteel is not standing behind it s product. I would definitely not recommend them after spending $2300+ on one seat that lasted only 2 years. Non smoking not in sunlight home. Customer service did respond in a timely manner but just referred out. Vendor was great not at fault at all. It s the product which happens to be Flexsteel. Ended up buying an AMAX leather replacement unfortunately same price but looks almost identical to the Flexsteel brand but has lumbar and zero gravity reclining. Much better product and warranty. DON’T buy Flexsteel unless you plan on replacing every two years.

Excessive piling within 2 months. Cushions are wrinkling and sinking. Very expensive. Their solution is to shave it. I am afraid this will leave holes. I thought I was buying a quality piece of furniture and it is garbage after 2 months of use. I have photos to back it up.
