We have had a Fixd Home Repair Warranty since purchasing our home 14 months ago and could not be more pleased. Their response time has been great, their repair technicians have been on time and they have always kept us informed as to their arrival time. The technicians have been very professional both in appearance and service. Prior to moving to the Dallas area we used American Home Shield. The difference between the two companies, in our experience, could not be greater. FIXD is the best. We are glad our realtor suggested them.

Excellent service and always in time

Brian came to our place and attempted to repair a broken motor on the dishwasher. However, the previous owners had TILED THE DISHWASHER IN PLACE, making it impossible to access the motor. The removal of the dishwasher was not in his scope of work, so he was unable to complete his assignment. This being said, Brian was professional, competent, friendly and very informative. We appreciated his attempt and advice. As a side note, a new dishwasher has been ordered and a contractor to remove and replace the tiles. THANKS BRIAN.

Our hot water went away when we returned from a trip. We asked for a plumber, but no Fix’d plumbers were available for more than a week. There was additional fees for scheduling an outside plumber. Over $200 for emergency service. We settled on one in 3 days, for $75 ($25 extra fee). This scheduling scam was very disappointing. However, the plumber was excellent. He determined that the thermostat/ignition unit had failed. He also noticed some signs of leaking and it’s age (11 yrs old), and recommended replacement instead of repair. Fix’d agreed and a new unit was installed. The plumber was prompt and efficient and did a fine job of installation. We are pleased with the result, although disappointed that we had to wait a half-week to get scheduled (and further disappointed that for the several times we have used Fix’d, we have never had a Fix’d serviceman available.

GFI Plugs I needed 2 GFI Plugs replaced. The rep replaced them in no time at all. He was friendly and courteous.

I've had two experiences. Both were excellent in terms of the professionals that performed the work. The first repair request was processed immediately. The second repair request, however, somehow got lost in the Fixd administration / system. I had to call and email four times to get the repair started.

While the price is great, I have yet to have a repair completed by Fix’d. And it’s not for lack of trying. I have had them tell me two repairs weren’t covered; we have had three “no-shows” by repair people; and the two non-complicated repairs we have in process now have been taking forever. I have been totally underwhelmed with Fix’d service so far.
