Plugged the Fixd scanner into my truck and it read the code right away, turned out to be an o2 sensor. Mechanic confirmed it so at least I skipped the diagnostic fee. The app takes a second to load sometimes but nothing major.

Update May 2021: After my initial horrible experience, Fixd has actually come through! I know - I'm as surprised as you are. With about a month left to go in my contract, my AC compressor blew out. It took a week in the Texas heat for someone to come check it out, then another week to get the part and install it. But the good news is, Fixd covered it all 100% (except for the initial service charge). This was about a $2500 job and they took care of it with 0 hassle. So in the end, this turned out to be an excellent investment after all. Initial Review: Horrible service. I have a simple plumbing issue I tried to schedule two weeks ago. No one showed, no one has been assigned, and all 3 times I’ve contacted customer support they’ve said they’re finding someone “as we speak”, and yet they never do. And despite all of this, they’re refusing to cancel it and refund the $50 I already paid for the job. Isn’t it illegal to take someone’s money and not provide the service? If no one wants to come out, then fine - cancel it, refund the $50, and I’ll make other arrangements. I’m not sure who to file a complaint with so I figured I’d start writing bad reviews. This company was 100% a waste of money, especially given I was foolish enough to get the deluxe package.

Trustworthy, quick to the job, on time and quality work. Only suggestion is contractors should carry more parts on their trucks so they would not have to return.

I recommend Fixd to everyone. Service is always on point. Not a huge fan of the surcharged pricing tiers now is the only reason to take off from 5 stars.
