Customer Service without the Customer in Mind
Tried to contact Fandango Customer Service multiple times and multiple ways: chat, email, message form, dm, and phone call. I completely understand the Refund Exchange Policy. If you don't request it before the time of the show, then you're plum out of luck. However, there is a clause that says they will take special circumstances into consideration. Bottom line, they do not. They will simply deny any request. We purchased tickets for a movie and did not receive the seats we purchased. We purchased seats in the direct center of the aisle and when we got there, the center of the aisle was blocked off by rails and there were no seats between the rails. Our middle seats were off to the far side and two of them didn't have numbers on them, nor were they attached in any way or even straight? It was very odd. We did not arrive early, just on time. We had reserved seats, after all! It was a school night for our boys, so we didn't try to get seats for a later show time, even though we were seated in wonky detached seats off to the side. We weren't asking Fandango for a full refund, we did watch a movie. I was just asking for some consideration. We did not get what we paid for. However, Fandango had no consideration. They say they will "review" the case, but then simply deny it with no thought or regard for the customer. The Supervisors cannot be contacted by chat, dm, phone, email, or even by snail mail (I asked). The Supervisors cannot be bothered; they have their "special roles," that the representatives I spoke to could not define. Those beneath them are just following the rules and are not given the authority to think outside of the box. When I asked if I could appeal the decision, the representative said it would just be denied again. Fandango's Customer Service is Customer Service at its worst.
