FandangoReviews of fandango.com

On November 30th, I cancelled the trial membership, even got a cancellation notice email verifying it. A few days ago, Fandango charged my account $29.97! I called them to resolve this and have my money refunded. Even though I screenshotted and sent it to them, they sent me an email they were not refunding my money! I immediately called my bank and they reversed the charge and refunded my money! FANDANGO ARE CROOKS!! I'm gonna research and find Fandangos head office and report this, seems they are doing this to quite a few people!

Very unhappy with this company. I paid for my daughters birthday party and on the morning of the movie my daughter woke up sick. She tried to tough it out but around 11am it got worse and we decided we couldnt go. We purchased 6 tickets the night prior and The site clearly says that if you call or ask for refunds prior to movie start time then it will be honored. Well we started calling and we were on hold for about 2 hours and as it got closer to 3pm i was getting nervous. The customer service eventually took the line at 305pm and said that if i sent the time stamp showing that i was on hold then they would still honor. I immediately sent it in. Three hours later Fandango sent an email saying our refund was refused. I am blown away by this. I literally NEVER put these reviews or when i do, i normally do because i want to encourage or highlight the company. Well unfortunately i cant on this one. What an awful experience. I work in customer service and i know that it can be tough but this one was handled bad. If they want to contact me and right this i am more than happy to . Its not even about the money on this one. Its the ethics

I placed order (Confirmation # X5RD7XZUT21Z) of $131 gift card yesterday 06 Dec 2024 - which is within the Promotion Validity. I did NOT get the "Fandango Promo Code". Upon enquiring (help @ fandango.com) - they straight away deny it. I requested them to at-least have a quick call too providing my number but got response stating - "No further action is required. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause.".

This company will lose your credits or movie. Do not purchase anything especially gift cards. They will not help you get them back either

App is buggy. Customer support is inexistent.

I never received a confirmation email to the email address on file for my tickets. I have tried no less than a dozen times to contact them through chat, and no one is available despite their stated business hours. AI was not helpful. Luckily, I took a screen grab of the confirmation number, but I will never use them again. Too bad. They used to be a great app to use.

Signed up for their fan rewards program. They did not deliver the promotional products that were presented. I sent email to their support team asking why. Never received a response even though web site said I would receive a response within 72hrs. I then phone their support line. After waiting for almost 90 minutes for someone to anger I gave up. I canceled my membership. DONT BOTHER to become a Fandango me member .

fandango sucks so bad i cant even imagine why they dont have exceptions for a person’s passing away to get my family’s tickets exchanged or even just move to the same theater company to a city closer to me. we were just told that my cousin passed away and that the funeral will be on saturday when we booked our first family movie time in oxnard, ca to be able to attend a baby shower after the movies. we planned it a week earlier so we can have good seats. mind you, these tickets i got from donating platelets and have been saving them since mid year this year. so i finally booked not thinking my cousin would be passing away and i finally get to spend time with my kids who are part of a custody battle cause i have them together for the first time in 3 years. i asked fandango if we can move it here in LA so we can still use the tickets but closer to where the funeral is going to be. we are not even supposed to go to the movies but because of their refund policy i said ok just so the 3 hr platelet donations for each 4 tickets will not just vanish, we will watch the movie despite the funeral. but fandango says, NO EXCEPTIONS even if i did get the fandango membership because i am still on the trial period i cannot use the benefits. i said i am willing to pay for the monthly but now they wont even cancel the trial period so i can already start the paid membership and get the benefits. what the heck fandago does not even have a heart. i asked, so if i pass away and i have a ticket my kids cant even get a refund or an exchange because i cant un-“die” just to watch a movie. fandango, you need to change your policies, even airlines refund or reschedule flights because of a death. and im fine if i was lying but all these circumstances are all happening in my life, the death, the divorce with custody battles and yes i do donate platelets for 3 hrs each time and yes i cannot afford the expensive movie tickets anymore so i do take advantage of free movie tickets even if it means i give away all my blood so i can actually spend time with my kids who i dont get to have because their dad wants to get full custody of and is asking me for alimony and child support. there is such a thing as a male person who does not have the pride or ego to do all these to a female like me. and fandango cant help in any way. NO EXCEPTIONS EVER
