We were completely lied to by an AT&T…
We were completely lied to by an AT&T rep about services we were signing up for. We had just gotten Verizon and we couldn’t get a signal, they “lost” two of our trade ins and we were done with them. So when AT&T came to install our cable, they sent a sales rep that came to your house to explain all the services you are getting AND to try to get you to switch to their cell as well. We explained how we recently left AT&T because of how they raised their prices and it became unaffordable. The rep wrote us out an offer on paper, and we asked him to detail it out like we were dumb and sign it. He did all that. They promised to give us Visa cards that would equal the amount we would owe Verizon for switching. That came out to $750 per card for a total of 4 cards. Yeah, seemed too good to be true but he signed the documents, wrote up an official offer on their tablet. So we thought, ok we scored. We will switch. I had been fighting AT&T and Verizon since 2018. Finally I decided to use Fairshake. Not only did we recoup ALL costs but they also had to pay all lawyer fees. They completely avoided arbitration because we had every single piece of paperwork to back up what att didn’t do and how the salesperson stopped returning calls once he got the sale in. Att’s corporate office had told us to keep dreaming basically when we asked them to help. With Fairshake, we did nothing and they handled it all. Now off to make Verizon remove their negative info on our credit. This is legit.
