Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. I actually reached out to you in a separate email with some explanation of your results and why you aren't receiving an EyeGlass Number. I also included some tips to try to help with the testing process. Please check your email for further information.

Well Worth It!…
Very impressive and once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature to you thereafter. My prescription was right on! Can't say enough positives about this product.

Excitement turns into disappointment
It is easy to purchase or return( I have not had a chance to send it back yet) the product. That is all the reason for the three stars rating. I was excited to be able to test my eyesight at home and be able to monitor any changes without going to see a doctor. However, through my experience, I can't say I have confidence with the product.
The instruction slip included in the box says search for myEqyeue in the app store. However, all I can find in the app store is eyeque/pvt. This puts doubt in me later about the compatibility between the hardware and the app. (I was later told that is the right app though.)
The video demo shows that I should see a red bar and a green bar clearly separated. My experience, through testing all nine dialed positions, is that the two bars are always overlapped to begin with. I have to press either the plus or the minus button quite a few times to see the two bars separate, yet they never totally separate. When they are 'separated' I can see red, yellow, and green. When they are manipulated into the overlapped postion, I don't see a clearly yellow bar. It changes from yellow to red or green if I tilt the eye piece a little.
The initial picture, say the green bar, usually appears to one side of a circle with no corresponding red bar but with the circle partially colored in red, suggesting to me that there is some problem with whatever lens is inside.
The final prescription has the axis correct. That is, it almost matcehes my previous prescription. The other numbers (spherical and cylindrical) looks very different from my previous presciption. Here is a comparison:
my old prescription:
OD: sphere -3.75, cylinder -0.50, axis 100"
OS: sphere -3.75, cylinder -0.25, axis 75"
ADD: +2.50
eyeque/pvt test result:
Right: spherical -1.50, cylindrical -1.75, axis 102"
Left: spherical -1.25, cylindrical -1.50, axis 74"
NVADD: +2.50
It looks like my eye doctor and Eyeque uses different numbers as base, that explains the cylindricals have the same difference between the right eye and the left eye. But it does not explain why the sphericals are the same by my doctors presciption and not the same by PVT.

Works
It works finally. I had it backwards
Response from EyeQueJun 18, 2020
Hello there, and thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry you were met with frustration when using the PVT. The practice test was designed to give the user an idea of what they need to see/do when testing; it is not calibrated for your specific phone. I have reason to believe it may have something to do with your screen's resolution. Please send us a diagnostic report by selecting Contact Support in the app.

I just wish the eyecup was softer…
I just wish the eyecup had been made of a slightly softer material so I could adjust the angle to spick up the lines. Otherwise, it was simple to use (after a little practice) quick and not very expensive.

Slow shipping - asked to review and no order in hand as of yet.
I have not received my order yet that I placed on May 27th, so I cannot review this item. Shipping so far has been disappointing. Not sure when I will receive the kit, but looking forward to it. Thank you.

Hello there, thank you for your review. We're sorry about the inconvenience of receiving these emails while not having the product in hand. Unfortunately, COVID-19 had caused delays with deliveries due to changes in the policies/procedures and staffing of all of the couriers (USPS,UPS,FedEx,DHL, even Amazon). Nonetheless, I'm glad your order made it it you. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
