EyeconicReviews of eyeconic.com

Screw this company, they cancelled my order because they "couldn't verify my prescription" after three weeks and me sending over the prescription information FOUR TIMES. Rude customer service. The only reason they're in business is because they work with VSP.

Really poor quality in terms of lens production. I've had the same prescription for a few years now and it seems that eyeconic is the only one that repeatedly makes my lenses incorrectly.

I’ve been ordering contacts from Eyeconic for the past few years and have not had any issues with orders or insurance being accepted. However my most recent order of 24 pack of contacts was lost in the mail. I contacted customer service and was responded to promptly while they investigated internally what happened. They followed up 2 days later saying they would re-send my contacts for no additional charge. What I love most about this exchange is I didn’t need to chase anyone down to get an answer and were proactive in solving the issue. Definitely will be ordering from them in the future.

It’s been over 2 weeks and I’m my ship date is constantly moving. I can’t get a correct date. Moreover, my total was $350 and then when I added my amazing insurance, it changed the prices to be MORE. This should be illegal. I’m screenshotting all of the sites where VSP “works” with theses companies and see what insurance does for the price. It’s such a ripoff. I’m lucky enough to have 2 eye insurances so when they told me my glasses will take a while bc that’s “normal” I said NO ITS NOT. I told them that they also state otherwise on their website. And it’s def not normal that if they say they’ll mail it on the 26th, then check it on the 26, it moves to the 28th and now the 1st. LensCrafters gives u an accurate time frame where as u guys keep shifting the shipping time. Also, once they mail it- I’m going to have to wait another 7-10 biz days??! I’m not like other ppl. I read and screenshot everything so I’m not stuck with a company that has bad practices.

With insurance, the glasses were a great price. I guess I should have realized there was a reason for the low price. Poor customer service. Poor quality glasses. My glasses arrived and they were horrible- bent frames that didn't lie flat on the table and were so crooked on my face, my family literally laughed out loud. I went to a local optometrist to correct and even they couldn't fix it. I called customer service and they said to send "5 photos of the damage" I said how do I photograph cheap and crooked? So I sent them 5 photos of me wearing crooked glasses. Customer service is rude and couldn't understand me when I said if I return these glasses I will lose my insurance so I need a replacement, not a return. Still waiting for somebody at this company to respond to me. It's been 3 days.

Ordered contacts in December 2022 to use the VSP benefit. Waited for them to arrive and they never did. Finally figured out that they canceled my order. They claim they sent an email saying they "couldn't read the prescription" although the one I sent was perfectly clear. They never sent an email to me, I checked everywhere. They then canceled the order without telling me. When I complained, I was told I could use the 2022 benefit to reorder since I had ordered before the end of the year. Today I tried to reorder and I'm told sorry, you can't use the 2022 benefit. I said I never got the email they claim to have sent, and it wasn't my fault the order was canceled by them. They didn't seem to care. I'm requesting a call from a supervisor but don't have high hopes for resolution. This is a bad company, stay away if you can.

DO NOT order from them! Put in an order for glasses beginning of December to use my insurance up and my FSA card for the year. I get an email end of December saying orders are delayed due to year end.. no worries another month passed and nothing. So, I call. They cancelled my order! They say they emailed me I check my email daily and I searched for it even NOTHING! No email. So now I didn't get to use my insurance up for last year and lost the money on my FSA card. Total BS and the girl on the phone was like well we sent it.

My insurance plan recommended this company and I would receive an additional discount so this is the only reason I used this company. The frame that I chose along with the lens totaled to over $500. I had to pay out of pocket a little over $200 and my insurance paid the rest. I have had nothing but problems since receiving these glasses. One of the lens was not beveled and was left very sharp on the edges, and looked like it was shoved into the frame causing gouges on the inner rim of the frame. There was also slight chipping on the edge of the lens that was not beveled. I wanted to exchange but would have to return the pair and wait weeks for a new set, so in total probably 3-4 weeks from start to finish. Ideally they should have sent me a replacement so I wouldn't be left without glasses. Due to this inconvenience, I decided to keep them. Then a few months later, this same lens developed "crazing" in which the coating on the lens becomes cracked. When I attempted to return the set, they no longer had my frame in stock. This was the only frame I liked and they do not have much of a selection of "small" frames in a clear or translucent pink. I asked if they could just repair the lens and use the same frame, they said no because of "safety reasons". I asked if they could just send me another lens and I will take it to my local optometrist to install. No again. So now I'm left with a defective set of glasses that Eyeconic received over $500 for. I am very disappointed and will never use this company again.
