Express Movers Services IncReviews of expressmoversservices.com

I am so grateful to have hired this company for my move. Anthony and his team were outstanding getting all my stuff packed up and moved into my new home. I was under so much stress having to move so quickly and these guys got me delivered with not a scratch on any of my belongings. They communicated with me every step of the way, I couldn’t of asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving company , five stars all the way!!

Let me start my review off as a warning to future customers. I hope that this review will help the next person to make the right decision and NOT HIRE this company!! I know for a fact that your bank account and your mental well-being will definitely thank you for it. My wife and I hired Bronze Star movers who outsourced us to the trucking/moving company known as Express Services to handle our move NY to FL. My experience as a manager in the service industry where I understand that the customer is not always right but they are still your customer and should be treated with respect and dignity. That is not the case here with this company. The original price they provided was not the price they charged which is understandable, sometime prices change due to many factors. Secondly, we had to pay them in cash which is something I never heard of which was over 10k. Upon the pick up of our items I had to run out to get gift cards to pay them or they would not load the truck. Fast forward to today my wife and I were under the expression that we had paid in full. When the truck arrived, we were told we still had a balance due which I very calmly explained to them that to my knowledge that was not the case. When the driver Abu who is amazing by the way reached out to the owner Anthony who was on speaker phone called me a piece of s*** and a lair, which is totally uncalled for. If there was a miss communication over the balance my wife and I would have no problem correcting the situation which we did. Lastly we finally got our stuff off of the truck and into our storage unit. I’m not big on writing reviews but in this case I want anyone looking to hire this company to definitely look elsewhere where, even if I cost a few extra dollars. It would definitely be in your best interest to do so. I hope that this review will help the next person to make the right decision and NOT HIRE them because your bank account and your mental well being will definitely thank you for it.

I am in the military and needed weight slips to be paid when I PCS. I've stated this everytime I talked to someone. I told the pick up people and the delivery guys. They said that's customer service who does that. I was quoted way off and now may have to pay 15k out of pocket because i cant get weight tickets that i paid $100 for. They said they would take good care of my antique hutches. All 3 were scratched and two were cracked and broke. I have tryed for 2 weeks to contact people and no one will call me back. I was told by Nick he would be there every step of my move and once I paid the 3k up front he stopped helping and just sent preloaded txt for a customer service that you can't leave messages with. This is the worst most corrupt lieing company I've ever dealt with. Do not trust them and the fine print they do not explain what the legal jargon means.

MUST READ !!!!!! LIARS Anthony and Moshee Very bad experience, the quote was $1500, they charged me $3900 and damaged all of my glass valuable items. Broke both legs of my vanity set and cracked the glass. Cracked the glass of my glass night stand. Cracked the glass of my side table Broke my custom wood tray Broke my wood bed Total cracked the screen of my new 55” TV Anthony agreed to pay for damaging the vanity and TV, he asked for quotes. I got quotes from the companies then he tried to offer $400. Anthony had me sign papers stating that he will fill it out later and my items will be fully covered. When i saw that my items were damaged, i cried like a baby, and called Anthony. Anthony said he would make it right and replace or fix the damaged items. WELL!!! he's such a liar, he told me since my glass vanity leg was already loose that's the reason the glass was broken. He told me to take the $73 and they would give me the rest of the money to replace the broken items but when it was time for him to do it, he didn't and started ignoring my text and calls. I tried to get my items replaced for over a month, from 5/6 to 6/11, now i have to file a complaint in the superior court of NJ and post reviews. They are liars. Trust nothing they say. I will let the Judge decide. I have photos, videos and text message and a police report. Read their reviews, check the complaints with BBB and DOT. Don’t let them get you with the fake video from moving Mike Tyson and other celebrities. Lies lies

Do not trust these thieves. Buy new furniture or rent a uhaul before handing over your items to these people. I heard Netflix is doing a documentary about moving scam companies like this. Hopefully they will be featured.

The customer service is what impressed me. No other company matched this level of enthusiasm. The crew arrived during their scheduled window. They worked really, really hard. They put everything back together perfectly.

I felt this company was a really great service. Frank the driver explained everything to me and really helped me out. I did not like how Bronze Star moving & storage scammed me into thinking they were the actual moving company. If only I knew Bronze Star moving & storage was a broker I never would have used them. If only I knew about Express Movers Services I would have gone directly through them and saved myself a HUGE headache. If you are looking to move out of state DO NOT use Bronze Star Moving & Storage! Go Directly through Express Movers Services and you will have way better luck than I did initially, and save a ton of money as you won't have to pay the broker fee for them finding you the actual moving company (Express moving Services). Frank is the best - I HIGHLY recommend him!

This is an absolutely horrible moving company. I filed a moving fraud complaint against them, and everyone else should do the same in an attempt to shut this company down. They did not treat my property with care. The destroyed my property. They were abusive to me and my family during the move. They delivered my property late. And the insurance company they contract with is a scam also. I called to get reimbursed for my property, and the insurance company did not follow up with the movers. The movers hung up on me multiple times and lied about the time frame that I would receive my reimbursement. They also did not actually reimburse me. They deserve zero stars and deserve to be shut down for illegal business practices. Their reply below about the claims department is a lie since I attempted to go through the claims department and got nowhere. I have all of the documentation about the process. ***update to reply: definitely the right company: Express movers services, inc. address: 560 sylvan ave 3160, englewood cliffs, NJ 07632. 888-379-0460. Have documentation to prove it. Absolutely terrible company.
