ZERO STAR REVIEW
I hired Frontier Moving Services, not realizing they subcontract to Express Moving Services Inc. a deceptive, careless, and scam-driven company. Initially quoted for 763 cubic feet, Express demanded $2,125 more on pickup day before loading anything claiming I’d go over capacity. I argued with “Anothy” for three hours, explaining the quote should have matched the box sizes used. They packed inefficiently half-empty boxes and oversized materials not what I agreed to. I was forced into a verbal agreement to pay $1,007 more, even though I went over by only 237 cubic feet, not the 500 they falsely claimed. An hour after they left, my firearm went missing despite clear verbal instruction not to pack it. I had to drive over an hour to meet the movers, who had thrown my boxes on the side of the road, and it was not found until delivery At delivery, they refused to reassemble my furniture even though I paid for the service and threatened not to carry anything upstairs unless I paid another fee, despite that too being prepaid. Thanks to Colin at Frontier, those issues were eventually resolved. Then came the real damage: My $1,000 mirror shattered. 85” Samsung TV broken. Family member’s ashes missing. Boxes arrived crushed, mixed with someone else’s belongings, and were packed horribly: knives loose, candles leaking on clothes, glassware destroyed. I even had to tell them to take back boxes that weren’t mine. One mover was rude and combative, and they had to go to Home Depot to buy tools they should’ve had. Anothy admitted fault on a recorded call and promised compensation. It’s been a week. No response. No payment. No accountability. Express Moving Services Inc. is a scam. Frontier should be held responsible too. If you value your sanity, your belongings, or your wallet stay far, far away.
