Bought the eSIM for Vanuatu: Price was good for the data package, it was working also in remote places and islands and also in Fiji unexpectedly!

Fiji picking up signal too was a nice extra, since Vanuatu was the actual plan. Coverage outside the listed countries is never promised, so treat that part as a bonus rather than something to count on next time. Your friends at eSIM.dog

Used twice - in UK and Switzerland. UK was great - no issues. And Switzerland was extremely bad. Overall very poor speeds and coverage. On top of mountains in popular destinations shows good connections but the internet simply doesn’t work (my wife who had our provider roaming turned on faced 0 issues and had fast internet at the same time)
Response from eSIM.dogAug 14, 2026
Hi Gytis, Your UK trip went the way it should have and Switzerland did not, and we regret that. Full bars with nothing moving behind them normally means the network we route through was saturated or holding your phone on a weak cell, which is common in the Alps at the height of the season. A local operator's own subscribers can sit at a different priority in that same cell, and that is one explanation for what your wife saw beside you. We should say plainly that we cannot confirm it: our systems record the data a plan used and nothing about speed or which cell carried it. A plan that quietly does its job is what we are selling here, and your UK trip is how that is supposed to feel every time. Please email our support team at [email protected] from the email address used for your order and mention that you are contacting us regarding your Trustpilot review. Once we have the order in front of us, we would like to go through what the network recorded on it and put this right. Warm regards, Your friends at eSIM.dog

What can i say an absolute perfect service, me and 5 others ordered this through esim data base, esim dog was cheapest for my holiday in Egypt since landing until now I have had no issues it worked from the second I landed and I have had great fast service the whole time, I had 1 little issue which I wasn't 100% sure what happened my son was running out of data and press on the refill button, it charged me twice $4 for 6gb so my account has 12gb added to it, I pressed on the email present on my receipt explained that I was charged twice I added screenshots within seconds I had an email stating they can see I was charged twice and they issued the refund straight away. I cannot fault the service I have received and fully recommend using the service.

A mistaken double charge is annoying to spot on your statement, and catching it fast and putting it right is the part we take seriously every time. Good to hear the rest of the Egypt trip went smoothly. Your friends at eSIM.dog

I bought 3 gb for 30 days and even though i used it only in whatsapp messages, it says that i used 2.28 gb in just 1.5 hours. I will never buy e sim or refill from this company.

Hi Mehmet, We reviewed your case and the available usage data, and we’re deeply sorry that you had such an unpleasant experience with our product. We cannot see what the data was spent on: our systems record only the total. Data can go to things that are easy to miss, like background backups or autoplaying video, though we have no way of knowing whether that is what happened to you. We take reports like this seriously and keep watching for patterns. We would also like to make things right and resolve this situation for you. Please email our support team at [email protected] from the same email address used to place the order and mention that you are contacting us regarding your Trustpilot review. This will allow us to identify your order and take the necessary steps to address the issue. Our product should make travelling easier and more enjoyable. We sincerely hope we’ll have an opportunity in the future to provide you with the level of quality and experience you should have received from us. Warm regards, Your friends at eSIM.dog

I always use esimdb for the cheapest deal and for this US trip it was eSim.dog. It took some time browse the plans to find one that had US breakout IP which I needed for restaurant and store websites that do geo blocking eg Dollar General. Instead of the exact days I needed I chose the 5GB 30 day Verizon and AT&T and it has excellent speed and coverage. Even better than my local friends. The management website was handy for checking usage only used 3GB during my 10 day holiday. One weird quirk is I had to wait about 10mins after ordering for the QR code to activate properly on the iPhone, before then it failed to add the eSIM. iPhone tip: turn off mobile data for photos on iPhone otherwise it will use up all your data uploading to iCloud Photo Library!

The ten-minute wait before the profile switches on is a real quirk, and it's more useful to hear about than not. The iCloud Photos note deserves its own review; that catches a lot of people out. Your friends at eSIM.dog

A full week in a busy city, and the signal held. That's close to what we hope routes like this one deliver. Your friends at eSIM.dog

I thought the eSIM then tried to activate it , it says that the code is not valid anymore I thought it’s valid for 7days from first use ??
Response from eSIM.dogAug 14, 2026
Hi there, You tried to activate and were told the code is no longer valid, with nothing to explain why. Your question about the seven days deserves a straight answer. Validity runs from the moment the eSIM is activated, and the QR code installs once. If the profile has been removed from the phone, that same code is refused afterwards, and a top-up adds data to a plan whose clock is already running. On yours the plan ran to 8 July, and 1.8 GB of the 2 GB went unused. You should not have had to work that out on your own. Please email our support team at [email protected] from the email address used for your order and mention that you are contacting us regarding your Trustpilot review, and we will put this right.
