My money distribution for exited portfolio all the way back from 2021 i still pending. Several attempts to contact anyone or someone at equityzen has been in vain. I am left with no choice but explore legal or federal government options. Please DONOT invest with EquityZen!!!

Great investment platform

They contacted me via phone when the company I had indicated an interest in (Tonal) had shares available and walked me through the process with all questions answered.

Not equity Zen’s fault completely, however the companies listed are constantly lowering their former valuations by increasing equity rounds within the app. Have seen only a steady decline in value during a span of the last 3 years. My 30k investment is now worth 20k (not including fees). Both companies have publicly declared IPO plans year-over-year, only to launch another private equity round at a far lower valuation. It’s a complete slap in the face to the early investors. Equity zen constantly pushing these interests for the corporations they serve over the accredited investors actually supporting the platform shows the companies true colors. Also, they hock email after email, day after day pushing the same companies. It’s distasteful & frankly just plain gauche considering the clientele they’re marketing too. Until I see an actual pre- IPO with real use case being pushed that makes significant gains, I wouldn’t think about investing another dollar with this company. The same 30k investment since 2020 in the traditional market shows significant gains. Not losses.
