Lance L.
I would advise investing with another company.
I have a straightforward question that I need answered clearly. I transferred $100,000 to EquityZen to purchase 625 shares of Shield AI, yet I currently have no tangible proof of ownership. These shares do not appear in my investment portfolio, and when I search for them on your platform, they only appear under the “Closed” tab. To be direct: if I were to invest several million dollars through EquityZen, would the only confirmation I receive be that the transaction is “Closed”? My original question to your team was simple — where are my shares, and why are they not visible in my portfolio? The response I received merely directed me back to the “Closed” section, which does not resolve the issue. At this point, I need EquityZen to provide formal documentation confirming that I do, in fact, own 625 shares of Shield AI. I require tangible proof of ownership, as my funds appear to be marked only as “Closed,” with no accessible evidence of the underlying asset. I understand that I need to further educate myself on your processes, but your client services have not provided sufficient clarity. Therefore, I am requesting that EquityZen issue stock certificates or equivalent official documentation. Please send hard copies to me through any appropriate method. Regards, Lance

Hi Lance, We are very sorry for the frustration regarding your transaction status and share documentation. We take feedback like this very seriously and we have reached out to discuss this with you. Please note that there is a standard 30-60 day post-close processing window for the shares to transfer. As soon as the documentation is available, our team will get it right over to you. We will review our communication to make sure that this is clear.
