I order a pair of shoes from Ember & Kate. When I received them, they weren’t even in a box; therefore they had a permanent crease on the top of the shoe and smelled like tires. I paid $68+ for these shoes that didn’t fit, poorly made and smelled like a tire. Mind you these are advertised as orthopedic shoes. I contacted the company to return for a refund. They offered me to order a different size but I would have to pay $8.95 for shipping. I replied that I wasn’t interested and wanted to return for a refund. They replied: The return conditions are: - Returns are at your own risk - Ship within 30 days in original packaging, without signs of use. - Return costs are at your own expense and can be relatively high, as our warehouse is located overseas. - Use a track-and-trace code. Without it, we can’t guarantee a refund - Include the completed return form in the package - A 100% refund will be issued once the return is received and tracking is provided. Alternatively, if you prefer to keep the item or gift it to someone else, we can offer a 15% partial refund. Buyer beware. You will receive expensive crap from this company and they don’t stand behind there products. You might as well kiss your hard worked money good by. Order at your own risk. Unscrupulous company ripping off Americans.
