App under delivers vs marketing- it’s a very complex habit tracker, not a personalised plan. Subscription is impossible to cancel! Have to contact customer support, who claim they don’t see an account vs my details but then have continued taking money from my card.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this subscription. The app is horrible. It really is just a tracker and offers no real CBT benefits. It’s false advertising. The biggest issue for me and why I feel this company is a scam is because they have no clear and straightforward way to cancel your subscription. This is straight up fraud. You also have to dig very deeply in the website to find there cancel and refund policies. I emailed them a cancelation request 5-10 minutes after purchasing the plan. I then deleted my info and deleted the app. My bank actually blocked the transaction as fraud too, so yeah. This is an awful company preying on people like me because they know it can be easy. I’m so upset with myself for falling for it. I can swallow the 29.99 that I lost to them because I should have known better. Just I be safe, I ordered a new card just in case they make canceling this a nightmare. Never trusting any app ever again. This world sucks.

Predatory advertising for people with ADHD and guess what? It's another useless reminder app. Don't waste your money and be patronised.

They’re advertising this app on TikTok with an ad saying “I became the perfect wife using effecto”. Like yeah that’s obviously our main goal in life. The fact that this was approved by someone in the company goes to show that it’s run by misogynists that are only after your money and nothing else.

I deleted my account when I was unable to unsubscribe and they still charged me.

As other reviews say, these guys lure you in with promises of tailored stuff for ADHD but it reality it's just a basic tracking app. They promise a personalised intro but I signed up to a 3 month trial and there was intro session available for over a month. To make matters worse I cannot work out how to cancel the subscription so I just paid £29 for a month of something I don't want. Effecto if you can tell me how to cancel that'd be great. In summary, it's a total scam, avoid!

While I actually haven't purchased this app, I nearly did as it had such great claims. Lucky for me somthing happened my mobile just before I entered my card details. Then I decided to wait and check it out. I am so gald I did and thank you all for going to the trouble of reviewing this app, so that other ADHD people can not get scammed, and waste their money. If anyone here is looking for a good way to deal with ADHD symptoms I recommend a simple technique called Tapping, lots of free samples on YouTube on how to do it. Search for easy tapping to eliminate ADHD. Also find your joy and go with the flow, that is where the energy is to give you the focus and concentration. best of luck to us all on our journey in life. and thanks again. God bless.
