I’m fuming

EDIT: following on from my review below, I can confirm that Jon from eFax reached out to me via email to resolve my problem - he also followed up with a call to make sure I received the email. I’m extremely happy with the resolution and have to say, the customer service received from Jon was excellent. More companies should take a leaf out of eFax’s book on how to provide a world class customer service experience. Although I don’t require a fax number at present, when I next do, I will certainly return to eFax!! ———— I’m fuming. These are crooks. I signed up for a free trial and never utilised the service. I then lost the card I signed up with and they emailed me asking me to update my billing details to continue with my subscription, which I didn’t do. I emailed them back to say I no longer wish to cancel and tried to cancel via their website but there is no option other than a telephone number to call. What if you have a disability and you can’t use the phone??? Today they’ve taken money from my new card when I explicitly asked them to cancel my subscription. I had no idea how they got hold of my new card number, until the bank revealed that they went to Visa and Visa are the ones who provided my new card details!!! Stay well away. These are seriously dodgy and surely some of the practices they follow are breaking the law????
