This is a scam: the come to your house unannounced offering a discount, but they just want your credit card to charge monthly fees. I was told I could cancel at anytime after three months, which I did because their products did not work. They then told me there was a fee of $ 150 to cancel. They have constantly texted me and their customer service threatened to turn me over to collection agency. I would never recommend this service to anyone especially since their products do not work.

I was approached at my home. Buy a cells person who said I could cancel at anytime. They came out twice and did the yard. I canceled because my son lost his job. And I was the only one working, and the treatment was not working, and They would not drop the $150. Even though I told them I needed to feed my grandchild, I am raising so now they have constantly texted me. Emailed me called me and has threatened to turn me over to collection agency. I would never recommend this service to anyone

This company is without a doubt a predatory sales product. Failed services, attempts to coerce payment after terminating said services, inaccurate business notes of logged services to deny the customer of their statements of failed services. Everything about this company is leveraging & self-serving for financial exploitation. I received an e-mail demanding $250 + $18 (interest) 24 hours after I terminated services. Understand, all previous services were immediately paid with a credit card on file. In addition to that, after every service, they sent an e-mail, with ultimately was a request to tip their employee. I doubt those potential tips ever made their way to the employee. Also, since I never saw the same employee a second time, it appears their employment practices must be equally consistent with their pest services. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. What a scam! Beware. It really should be zero stars. When I signed up for the service I was explicitly told it was a one-time fee. What they neglected to tell me was that it was a one-time activation fee and that I would need to make four additional payments for the one-year contract. And to add insult to injury, the service does not work. I walked into the kitchen one morning to see a mouse running from one side of the kitchen to the other. Disgusting.

Shady sales practice. They lied about services performed on neighbors houses as well as the fees to start and to even cancel. I emailed to cancel services, to which they acknowledged and still had someone perform services without notifying of them coming. DO NOT sign up. It's a scam 100%. You can do what they do for 10% of the cost.

Be Aware! Must make multiple attempts to cancel a service that does not work. They will tell you that you can't cancel until your 18 month contract is up. I was told as I was walked through the sign up app with the sales person that there was no timed contract, that I could cancel at any time without any penalty at all. That was probably partly my fault for letting him rush me through instead of reading everything on the app. Paid a discounted cancellation fee to get rid of them and get a text that my next service is scheduled. Wait, what? Call and was told oh, no you have to call again to cancel, another department that tried to high pressure me to stay. Ridiculous waste of customers time! I hope they really cancelled this time because if I have to do this again, I am calling the AG and contacting an attorney. This company is like mud in the face, sticks and hard to get rid of and hires liars to gain service! Plus I still have a spider problem and had to deal with an ant infestation that I have never had before. Never had these issues with my other pest company which I will be going back to because they are honest and don't waste my time.

If your thinking about using EcoShield for your home, DON'T DO IT. Services started off great as I just wanted to reduce the bugs/nest around my home. After a few months they offered a "free inspection" that was part of my service agreement. During this inspection I was told I had a problem with mice in my attic that has been going on for "a few years" and would be about $1800 to $10,000 to rectify depending on how I wanted to address it. Decided to get both a 2nd and 3rd opinion both of which said no such thing. 2nd opinion said they found NO EVIDENCE of mice. I don't appreciate the attempt to scam me and requested a cancellation of my service agreement. This led to a 20 minute conversation of trying to convince me to stay with them and offering to provide services for cheaper. Why weren't services cheaper before this??? Why was it not until I mentioned the $10,000 quote did the solutions team become desperate to retain me as a customer? In order to end my service agreement EcoShield informed me there was a $300 charge. So you tried to scam me, then think I should remain a customer, and then believe I should pay $300. Pay attention to the fine print. By subscribing you are agreeing to pay for all of your services for a year even if they do you wrong. Don't walk, RUN, from this company!
