terrible shipping
Ordered a backpack from ebags. They ship by folding the backpack in half and squeezing it into a plastic bag. My new backpack from ebags now has a crease on the back and on the straps that will not go away. Terrible!

I tried to order a Tumi bag which was excluded from the 20% discount in the small details. 20% discount was offered on the header until I entered paypal. Very misleading from Annika & Brice. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

Ebags has a reward points system, in which you earn at least 5% back in Ebags cash for each purchase, and the rewards are available after 30 days of the transaction as per their FAQ. That is actually a lie - they can postpone posting your rewards indefinitely so that you cannot use them in conjunction with their Black Friday sales or any such other deals, having to pay their inflated prices when the rewards (finally, if at all) become available! Their CS is another level of nightmare - they'll open tickets, but tickets will have no identifier, and each CSR will say the same spiel ("will be resolved in 24-48 hours"), again and again, till you simply give up!

First time I'm using this company. I found the perfect bag (Piel) that was recommended on a business site (one that you can put your laptop in and still look very fashionable). I got exactly what I wanted at almost half the price it would have cost me on the Piel website. The bag arrived 4 days earlier than expected. Very pleased with my experience and would not hesitate to order again.

Website does not work. Customer service either not responsive or rude. What a waste of my time.

Crooked eBags.com I purchased an item at eBags.com and found the same item at another store for less. I contacted eBags and submitted my claim for a price match per their rules for their lowest price guarantee on their website. I was informed that eBags would contact me after speaking with management. eBags never responded. I followed up with them and was told that management will not honor the price match guarantee. No matter what I asked them I received the same robotic response. I went to their website to quote their lowest price guarantee and found to my surprise that they had removed it. eBags.com are crooks! Buyer beware!

I paid full price for a replica during a sale. The customer service are nice on the phone and helpful. But because they are a drop-ship company (which I did not know until I researched it being a problem for other consumers) I realized, there's different merchants/vendors out there selling these knock offs and fake replicas as the real thing. I purchased two of the same bag "Fjallraven Kanken" from this company, and received them on the same day. One quality was very soft and poor, it felt used and appeared used inside. I just didn't understand how this could be possible. I have been trying to contact the regular company about it but no answer, so I just have to go with the comparison I made with my authentic bag. I'm frustrated and hurt to have received a fake/replica bag from what I thought would be a reputable company. I should just start buying from the company themselves - the problem was the color being sold out. So I decided "hey why not buy this at ebags" but yep. Never again. If you don't know if the products being sent to your consumers are authentic or real, that's a big problem. The market is flooded with second-hand or fake replicas of bags nowadays. Anything more than $50 seems to mean copies exists. I hope ebags look into this problem before people start noticing --- I hope people start checking their products! Very sad.

After returning from a 2 week vacation in Thailand, we discovered that one of our 2 new 30" Spinner eBags (their own brand) had lost a side handle and another had lost the top push button on the extension handle. Both had obviously been broken during our final flight back to NYC. After a single call, they have replaced the broken handle bag and replaced the complete extension handle assembly, completely free of charge pursuant to their lifetime warranty! Yes, I have some concerns as to why they didn't hold up under typical circumstances, but I have to report that they are honoring their warranty without any hesitation. To me, that's the best way to truly test a company and their customer service.
