EBags be very careful if you have to return something, they may not credit you even if you follow the rules.
Right now I have had 2 chat sessions regarding a return and been put on hold for 30 minutes, a supervisor is suppose to call me back but hasn't yet.
I went to a UPS store and after confirming the return with Ebags and they sent two different returns for me.
I received credit promptly on one but when I contacted ebag on the 2nd the customer service rep said that the tracking showed that I took the bag to UPS but UPS lost it in transit, he said no problem we will give you the second credit.
12 days later I am in a fight with Ebags on this issue: they say that they have to file with UPS, no credit yet to me, even though it shows that I dropped the bag at UPS per the tracking numbers.
Like the website, and Ebags and I have have bought a fair amount of stuff from them, but this is lousy service, can't say I will ever use them again. UPDATE I very nice Supervisor called me and apologized it was an internal error on their behalf but he was very open about it and said he would use it as a teaching example to his team. Based on his thoughtful, intelligent, response I will use EBags again, but as always keep your receipt even when you return it to the UPS or Fed Ex store.

I ordered 4 pcs of luggage and 3 purses
last week I ordered 4 pcs of Luggage and 3 purses. They were to arrive on Weds 19th. I still don't have anything. I noticed that the address was shown as street instead of Court. I sent a message via computer that they needed to correct as I would not get them. The correct address is:
2267 So Hoyt CT Lakewood, CO 80227
I was told they would correct it with the carrier.

Harassment of former customers and empty apologies
I will be posting this review to as many sites as humanly possible. I purchased a bag for school from them a few years ago, and everything went fine. When they started sending me promotional emails, I attempted to unsubscribe. The emails stopped for a while, but started up again. I attempted to unsubscribe, but their link to do so is broken. I contacted eBags via email to ask to be unsubscribed, and they said they would. Waited some months... the emails started up again. One of the email tag lines sounded like they were threatening me to buy from them. "You've earned your $10.00 in Reward Points. Now, Spend Them!" Again I contacted them and again it was confirmed, by email, that I would not receive any more emails from them. At this point I filed complaints with BBB and the FCC. Again, the company informed me that I would not receive any more emails from, and that my email address is not in their system. The emails stopped for days, but what did I find in my inbox this morning? ANOTHER eBags promotional email! I've tried so hard to divert their emails to spam, but their email address keeps changing. I'm at my wits end. I'm beginning to think eBags is a scam business. I'm going to report all future email from eBags as phishing, because I can't afford to delete the email account. Please don't ever buy from eBags. If you do, they will harass and harass and harass you to make another purchase.

I lost money because of Ebags' mistakes
I ordered a purse from Ebags in the same order as a backpack. The backpack arrived, the purse did not. A couple of days later I received a purse in the mail, but not the same one I had ordered. It was an entirely different style. Basically, Ebags had permanently run out of the one I ordered and decided to send me a different (smaller) one in more or less the same color. The purse I got was too little for me to fit my laptop, so there was no way in hell that I was going to keep it. This was about 7 - 8 days before I was leaving the country, so I needed to fix this quickly.
I contacted customer service through chat, and was initally basically not told anything else than a quick "we are sorry" and to return the bag. Now, I still needed a bag, and my plan was to look for a new one on Ebags, but this quickly changed as I was chatting to the representative. When I made my original order I had a 25% off coupon, and because I ordered over a certain amount, I also had free shipping. I had to argue with the representative for SO long for him to give me what I initially already had. If I was not given free shipping and my 25% coupon, I would have to pay MORE for a new bag just because of Ebags' mistakes.
I really should not have to fight with customer service like I did just to get back a coupon and the free shipping that I had applied to my first order, and especially not when Ebags was going to get new business from me despite their mistake. I was getting more and more frustrated as I was chatting with them - I just got so angry. Absoutely terrible customer service. I asked if I was not going to get compensated for their mistake, and the representative was "kind enough" to after a long while give a 30% off coupon - which is only 5% extra. Riddiculuous. I would get all this extra work because of their mistake, and they wanted to compensate me with 5% off a limited amount of items...? Good customer service would be to offer a much larger coupon, or to give a store credit that I could use for whatever I wanted.
In addition to this, I do not have a car, nor do I have a printer. Meaning there was no easy way for me to go to UPS to return the purse and to print the return label. Reluctantly, the representative told me they would ship the label to me in the mail. Great. The label never arrived in the mail, by the way, and I had to spend so much time to go somewhere else to have it printed. Because of my carless life I would have to take the bus to UPS - paying $2 in each direction, and I asked the representative if they were going to refund me this amount. After all, I was ending up having to pay for their mistake if they did not. The representative just closed the chat on me.
Now, of course I was furious. I opened a new chat with a different representative, and told my story. This guy was a better one, and told me that they would arrange for the item being picked up from my house by the UPS guy. I was happy (enough) with this, and told that I would be contacted within 24 hours by Ebags to arrange the pick up.
They never contacted me again. The mailing label never arrived in the mail. I had to pay $4 to take the bus and have it returned. The packaging the purse came in could not get closed-up again and sent back (it was basically thin plastic), so I also had to get a cardboard box to put the purse in. I took my business elsewhere.
I will never order any items from Ebags ever again. I lost money because of their mistake, and had to fight customer service to get what they should have offered me right off the bat. I was appalled by how they treated me, and felt terrible after taking to their customer service. They failed to compensate me and help me fixing their mistake. Stay away, there are better places out there.

Won't let me cancel an order that hasn't even shipped?
I placed an order where the items stated they take 2-6 days to process before shipping. I later elected to cancel the order, which I assumed would be a simple process because not only had the order not yet shipped, but it wouldn't be able to ship for a few more days given the holiday weekend. I was told that the order had already been "transmitted to the warehouse" and could not be cancelled. Apparently whatever mechanism was used to transmit the order can't be used to cancel it? Seems fishy. After a long conversation, during which I asked a few times to speak to a supervisor and was basically ignored, I was later told they "sent an email" to "request cancellation" and I would be "notified through email" on whether that succeeded...no timeline offered, no confirmation that it would be cancelled, so I'm betting it won't be at which time they'll try to charge me return shipping, restocking fee, etc. This is horrible customer service in the era of online shopping. I have successfully and painlessly canceled even same-day shipping orders at Amazon even just right before they shipped. There's zero reason or excuse that this particular order could not be cancelled as well, other than they want to keep my money in the form of a restocking fee or store credit. I won't shop here again; I advise you not to either.

Took my money for an order that would never ship
Bought a luggage set and was given a delivery date for it. Once it passed that date i call ups to find out they never received the shipment. Then contact ebags who finally called me back to tell that it's out of stock and won't ship. All they could say is that they could refund my money and that's it. Meanwhile I have an upcoming trip and no luggage and nobody would have told about this had I not called. They received payment for an order they said will not ship. Horrible customer service.
Response from eBagsJun 2, 2017
Hello Loretta,
I am sorry to hear your order was cancelled. Regretfully the warehouse oversold the item you'd ordered after they had provided tracking indicating it had shipped. While we do standardly offer some type of compensation for this type of instance, we were unfortunately limited from offering this due to the 3rd Party website the order was placed through. If you'd like to discuss this matter further, please contact us at 1-800-820-6126. Again we apologize for the inconvenience this caused you.

I bought a carry on wheelie for a friend but we split up. Ebags accepted return no question asked and the charge of $5 was minimal for return. Other companies when it is FREE shipping charge a ridiculous cost to return for their shipping cost. I sent out item on monday and by Tuesday night received notice paypal refunding my money. This is FL and I shipped to a FL address but the response was great and NO hassle return
