I was charged $89.44 for using this to…
I was charged $89.44 for using this to file a federal return. I did not file state or local. They said they had no refund policy. They did not tell you they were taking this money out of your income tax return. The person I spoke to was unable to tell where it said that in the return I filed. I feel I was ripped off and misled. I am reporting this to the IRS.

We reviewed the call records to determine what was communicated to you. It appears there was a misunderstanding as the customer care specialist whom you spoke with explained to you why you did not qualify for our free Basic software. They also explained that since you chose to pay with the proceeds of your refund, there is an additional bank fee. The customer care specialist then guided you to your account where you could see where this was selected and a breakdown of the cost. As a recap, you were upgraded to our Premium software based on the forms that were used for your specific return. You did not file or pay for a state return to be filed. As for your request to be refunded, the customer care specialist explained that since the Federal return had already been prepared and accepted by the IRS, the software had been fully used and we could not offer a refund at this time. I apologize for any misunderstanding with this.

Email for Technical problem.
I had a technical problem with deleting some forms. I sent an email request for directions and received a very succinct response within an hour on a Saturday. It solved my problem!

This site was so easy.....
This site was so easy and understandable. No hidden fees. Just straight forward. This is the best site for users that are on social security. It was free. Can't beat that.
