They have a monopoly in Central Florida, so they get to jack-up the prices whenever they want. Every time there’s a storm the power goes out and it gets fixed when it gets fixed. Their site does auto-pay, but no credit card. Two stars because they’re good about updating on outages at least.

Worst energy company in existence. Their greed knows no bounds. Energy costs are higher than ever and they just decide to tack on more charges now on account holders due to storms.

I Live in a apartment complex and I have been having abnormal high cost being in my unit, my complex says to report to Duke and Duke gives you excuses after excuses. A 3 bedroom small apartment for someone who barely uses energy should not be 300 plus a month!!! You are disgraceful to single parents out here are lower income who are trying to provide!!! Clearing my meter needs a adjustment but Duke Energy are thieves and robbing millions !!

I do not like duke energy they disconnected my auto pay and then I received late fees and I had to pay late fees even though I have been a great customer for many years of no payments being late. They wouldnt waive the fees. Their system is flawed. They need to fix this and this will help out your customer service representatives from getting irritated customers. Protect your reps and customers.

I called Duke Energy about my yearly usage, which came out to $1,368.89. I’ve already paid $2,603.44 through their fixed payment plan. The agent was polite, but told me they won’t refund the extra $1,234.55 and won’t roll it into next year either. They set my budget far higher than my actual usage and get to keep the difference. I don’t understand how this is allowed. If you’re thinking about their fixed payment plan, be sure your usage will match it, because if you overpay, that money is gone. I’m honestly stunned and can’t believe this is legal!

Duke energy your brilliant idea after my lights get cut off because I can't afford your bill and your Brilliant idea is to charge me an additional $250 to turn them back on. I have two words for you SOLAR PANELS & I'm going to make sure not only my home gets them but everybody who will listen gets them 🤬

Duke can not even maintain a website without outages. Their prices are too high, and to top it all, their customer service employees are arrogant and incompetent.
