Gas flame on stove was orange. Internet said call company. "JJ", the service technician, was sooooo nice. It's hard to put into words about how great he is. Professional, courteous, beyond polite. I hope you appreciate him as much as I do. "JJ" is personally welcome at my home anytime.

Reported power outage from freak storm in Hope Mills 9/5/2026 they came within an hour fixed the problem down tree limbs on neighbors property workers came in middle of the night exceptional work BRAVO GUYS THANK YOU ❤️

I took advantage of their free Energy Audit. It was audited by Drake Burlingame. What an excellent job he did looking under and over everywhere for any leaks. A few days later I got a thorough report with some recommendations. Drake also told us all the right things we are doing.

I am 74 years of age and live alone. I recently experienced power outages. A young man with the company came out and shared with my son that the transformer was bad and need to be replaced. Upon calling in and getting Charlie the rep on the phone he was patient, kind and very professional without being overwhelming user friendly and did an awesome job reassuring me that the engineering dept would be addressing my concerns. This young man was so respectful and even took the time to allow my son to join in to give important details. I know you get a lot of negativity and toxicity when you work in customer service but this one is a keep. Thank you Charlie. Please let this go forward and he be recognized for his awesome service vv

This is not a positive review for Duke energy themselves, rather it is for an employee of theirs a sales woman for Duke Energy Connections. ID # 14647 Name: Brittany(I believe) Employee NLMZAMO This wonderful woman was having such a terrible day the likes of which I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy! Even though she was frequently breaking down into tears during our conversation she was professional and articulate. She was upset due to HARRASSMENT from a supervisor including physical threats! Even in the face of all this she did her VERY BEST to be professional and stoic. She was an inspiration and she sold me an additional service protection plan. She explained the programs well and really sold me on their necessity. She deserves a 10/10!!!! BTW I am forced to leave this review here because none of the other online methods provided by Duke would work, and the AI system took so long to understand me that the office closed....shameful for such a large company. They need to do better. Perhaps they don't care to receive positive feedback on their best employees. It kind of makes me wonder if this is a cultural problem with the company!? Perhaps this explains why a woman on their sales team has to work under a supervisor who intentionally sabotages the people working under them???? It might explain why an employee who sticks up for themselves under such conditions is forced to endure physical threats from such a supervisor!?!? I hope and pray someone from Duke see's these remarks and does something to address the situation. I'm not letting this one go and I will be reaching out to their customer service department on Monday.

I just got off the phone with one of your customer service reps, Laqunna and wanted to let you know how impressed I was with her from the moment she picked up my call. She was happy and I felt like she actually was glad she got my call. We went through the process of transferring an account without any issues. She is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Please let her supervisor know how pleased I am with Laqunna and make sure this gets in her personnel file. Congrats Duke Energy on having such an outstanding employee!

Dante came to my home to evaluate my home’s energy usage. My main concern was my duct work. A few of my friends and I have recently had our air conditioning units maintained. Each of us has had the ac technician suggest that our duct work should be replaced. My estimate was $7000 and others were $10000. Duke Energy offers the evaluation service free. Dante checked my duct work and told me it is fine. Many people have issues with Duke Energy but I feel people should read the good they do as well. I saved $7000 and will be cautious the next time my ac unit is maintained.

Ms. Jessica was amazing, professional, understanding, and very courteous as well as very helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks again Ms.Jessica 👍😇
