I bought the 9.5 chipper shedder about a month ago and I have to say it has worked well past my expectations. I didn't take long before I bought the tow bar accessorie. For such a compact chipper it works very well . I ajve been running it 4 to 5 times a week from 2 hrs per day to 6 hrs on weekends . The only problem I had was the bolt holding the flywheel loosened up. Other than that well worth the money

While I have yet to receive my machine that was ordered the beginning of March, I must say the customer service representatives have alway been very nice and quite competent.

I ordered a burn cage. It didn't work for me. Not enough heat builds up to keep a hot fire burning when burning yard branches and limbs. I repeatedly asked for help and got none.

Purchased a DR Power vacuum Pilot model in Fall of 2017. I was lucky to have purchased the extended warranty because the canvas enclosure at a cost of approximately $177.00 has been replaced four times and the PVC chute at approximately $99.00 has been replaced three times. When I posted a product review on the DR Power website the comments were not even posted. The technician who called me advised me to install some iron on patches to the interior of the closure. They would be glad to replace defective parts as long as the equipment was under warranty. They would not address the root cause of the problem nor offer any solutions to the recurring problem unless you would think attempting to put a iron on patch would solve the problem in an area with leaves and dirt if it would ever stick to the enclosure material. I would never recommend this product in the current state. It does however pick up leaves very well!

I'm a along time DR user. Have purchased about $10,000 of their equipment in the past. Quality is extremely good for the most part. In the past solving problems, warranty issues, etc. were quite expeditious . I recently had an issue with the bag on a tow behind leaf vac.Had purchased the extended warranty and a new one was promptly sent. No problem. Had a problem with a walk behind trimmer. It was replaced after the engine broke apart on the second use. I had purchased a "reconditioned" unit and after the second one blew up DR replaced it with a brand new unit. No problem. However when we considered buying a walk behind vac I did some research. One GLARING ISSUE was the number of complaints about customer service at DR. I'm not talking a few, but way over 100 one star reviews. Had I not experienced the exact opposite - outstanding customer service-over the past 20 plus years I would have gone somewhere else. So I ordered the unit 0n 26Sep19 with a prospective delivery of about 10 days. No further acknowledgment so I call about a week later. Was told 14 Oct ship date. No further info so I called back and was told the 18th. The 18th came and went so called again and was promised I would have the unit by 28Oct. Came and went. I sent an e-mail to Mr. Dominic DaPra, director of Customer Support and received a very cordial call from Mr. Dapra the following Monday morning. He assured me he would get back to me ASAP. Still waiting. Called DR again and was given a "firm" date of 14 NOV. I can only assume they mean 2019. Now all these contacts I made, except Mr. DaPra, were to Vermont -the very same individuals I had worked with in the past. All very cordial, professional, and helpful. I could infere from speaking with them that they were as frustrated as I about the issue of"creeping delay". Generac would seem to be the culprit behind most of the issues by not supplying the required data in a prompt manor for relay to the consumer. We have made the decision that if this time slot slips again we will simply cancel the order. We have yet to be charged for the unit, but GENERAC was sure to charge me for the extended warranty the minute of the order. I can only hope a credit will be issued without undue delay should we cancel.
