Red Wine Stain & a Burn Hole, that's what I got for having guests...mostly kidding they're a delight & I didn't need to worry or be angry. Karla at Dream Sofa was right there to quickly help me find & order the right replacement cushion which is a huge savings over having to replace the whole couch which I would have had to do with some other companies. Can't thank Karla enough for her assistance & the great attitude she always has! If I may close with a pun Karla couched the whole situation in a very comforting manner it was a dream.

We decided to replace our couch after much consideration and saving up quite a bit. We had spent weeks looking at various couches at local stores, including driving up to an hour away. Originally, we had thought that buying on-line would be more expensive, but then we discovered we couldn’t get what we wanted without excessive customization…which meant far higher costs. Ultimately, we contacted Dreamsofa after some friends had told us about their experience. We ordered our couch, and while the team was friendly, and generally responsive, we didn’t understand how their process really worked. We got nervous after they charged us and it took a few days to connect about our design session. After they, we heard nothing until it was finally shipping. The shipment tracking was unhelpful and never updated until the final delivery company was ready to deliver. They don’t use UPS or anyone “known” - the final delivery is made by a company that hires subcontractors who come and pick up from their warehouse to deliver it, sometimes those subs have rented trucks. They also don’t give you many options or much notice about delivery times. You basically need to take a day off from work to accommodate them. When the couch arrived, it was damaged. We had to send it back, customer service wasn’t communicating with us very much either. Then after a week of frustration trying to talk to someone, they sent the couch back to us, still with a broken base section (it was only in the shipping company’s warehouse). When we finally connected with the head of the customer service team we were quite angry. Karla assured us that she had a plan to resolve the situation. We were to receive the damaged couch, store it in the house, and await a repair service … all before Christmas. In the end, she kept her promises and saved the day. We had the couch repaired and usable the weekend before Christmas. We love the couch, Dreamsofa is great, 100% happy and I would absolutely do business with them again because Karla saved the day.

I recently took a leap of faith and purchased a sofa from DreamSofa, based solely on glowing online reviews—and I’m so glad I did! Although buying a sofa sight unseen from an online brand that isn’t a household name was a bit nerve-wracking, the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I got in touch with DreamSofa, everything was smooth sailing. I was paired with a designer who hopped on a call to understand my needs and guide me through choosing the perfect custom sofa for my space. They even sent fabric swatches so I could pick the material that felt just right. The process from initial consultation to ordering was seamless—far more efficient and enjoyable than my previous experiences with big box stores. When the sofa arrived, it was on time and looked exactly as I’d envisioned. The quality was impressive, and I was excited to see it in person. However, there were a couple of minor issues with the cushions—not enough polyfill in some of them to my liking, and one corner cushion didn’t quite fit properly. I reached out to DreamSofa’s customer service, and they responded quickly and professionally. They shipped extra polyfill bags and a new back cushion right away—no hassle, no fuss. It’s rare to find a company that stands behind its products like this. I was initially hesitant to order a large piece of furniture online without the security of a well-known retailer like Costco backing me up. But DreamSofa proved to be a pleasant surprise, delivering exceptional service and a product that exceeded expectations. I’m thrilled with my sofa, and I’ll definitely recommend DreamSofa to others looking for quality, customization, and great customer service. Bravo!

While it does take some perseverance, they did ultimately seem committed to fixing my issues. The quality of the couch is also fantastic.

Customer Service works really hard, but the sofa is a disappointment. Wrinkling in the fabric from the first day, and apparently it rubs on dark clothing, as there are dark specs all over the light fabric. On top of that, I made a mistake. As a 65 year old, I didn't realize I can't lie down on a sofa and get comfortable. In fact, I find my back hurts after trying. So I decided to return the sofa, something Dream Sofa offers and was a compelling reason for me to try a sofa I couldn't sit on first. That's the real reason for the review --- their return policy. Deceptive. They charge for the return, which is not clearly articulated up front, in addition to the restocking fee. That means the return costs almost the same as the sofa itself. So I'm giving away a brand new sofa that doesn't work for me. Highly recommend you work with another company.

My mission to purchase new furniture began this past May. Initially, I ordered a sofa from one of Dream Sofa’s competitors. Quite frankly there is no competition. The Sofa that I got would not have lasted six months. It was of cheap quality and poorly constructed. A friend of mine recommended Dream Sofa so I did some research and decided to order a sofa and matching accent chair from them. I would like to say that this furniture is of highest-quality, beautiful and extremely comfortable. I want to believe Dream Sofa is a rather young company as it does not perform like a well oiled machine sometimes. First of all they are located in California. In order to successfully reach someone directly by phone, it is best to call later in the day if you live on the East Coast. You need to be persistent and continue to call back otherwise your efforts are quite futile. Dream Sofa boasts a 4 to 6 week turnaround with an additional two weeks in the event problems arise. I ordered my furniture from them at the end of July, finally receiving it the first week in October. I can’t tell you how many times I contacted them frustrated and disappointed. There were no issues other than a late delivery. Other companies would have said, so sorry for your inconvenience and leave it at that. My contact person, Karla, and any other team members that I worked with were of course apologetic but also recognized that they were in the wrong and promptly put together a compensation package for me. This was totally unexpected and very much appreciated, not just for monetary reasons but for the fact they really do care and want you to be thoroughly satisfied with their product. Again, I would like to stress that through it all I believe that the wait was definitely worth it. I have beautiful furniture that I believe will last much longer than I will and if you are lucky enough to work with Karla, you will be more than pleased with the total outcome. I know I am!

DreamSofa has been an absolute DREAM to work with! Karla from the customer care team and Ryan from the design team have both been amazing! They have gone above and beyond to help me! This type of customer service in this day and age is unprecedented! I highly recommend this company. I ordered two sofas from them and they are beautiful and the quality is amazing!
