Dollar Rent A Car UAEReviews of dollaruae.com

stay away of them Support is not calling back, no one contacting for car delivery untill I called them after passing the delivery time, delay of 2 hours for car delivery, asking for customer credit card numbers over whatsApp to name a few

2 months went by without returning my deposit of 3,400 AED.. when I checked out the lady in Zabeel branch charged me 173 AED as Salik toll fees, without giving me a receipt only to get an email saying that I have fees of 126 AED that needs to be withdrawn from my deposit.. I have emailed the customer care so many times but without any response.. what a complete scam. I’m trying to find away to alert the authorities since I’m abroad. Can anyone help me with that? I’d appreciate it.

I have been renting with Dollar for years as I was living in Dubai. I have now left the UAE in early May to relocate and am still hassling with them re the final bill. Despite a written agreement which included 2,500 mileage free per month, they are now trying to charge me over AED 3,000 for extra mileage. When looking at the receipt, they are claiming that I would have driven around 1,100kms extra on top of the free 2,500 per month..... The sales guy who was my contact does not even bother to reply, its only the accountants. Also, I replaced a tyre on my own costs as it was simply worn out and I was afraid that it might burst, did not even get that back and again, the sales guy did not bother to reply at all. I would truly just stay away from that company, there are plenty of other really good car rentals in Dubai but Dollar is certainly none of them. Oh and I was also given the wrong information by that sales guy as to where to drop off the car before I left....

WATCH OUT, BANDITS AND LIARS AT WORK HERE! When we arrived at their Dubai airport location in December 2021, they did not have available the 7 person SUV that we had rented (for a very good price). Then they tried to get us to accept a Dodge Charger, which was way too small. We refused and persisted in getting the car we had rented. They told us they would arrange it. Then, the employee asked us to make the rest of the payment. AND THEN.... the employee told me that my credit-card does not work... Over and over again. FINALLY, after spending more than one hour and more than € 100,- in phonecosts with my bank, who told me all is fine with the credit-card, WE HAD TO LEAVE WITH NO CAR AND TAKE A TAXI.... AND GUESS WHAT: THE NEXT 14 DAYS IN DUBAI THE CREDIT CARD WORKED PERFECTLY!! THESE PEOPLE CHEATED AND ROBBED ME AND MY FAMILY AND THEY MESSED UP THE START OF OUR CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY. MY ADVICE: DO NOT RENT ANY CAR HERE!

Never refunded of my deposit I rented a car at the airport, returned it in perfect state and never got my deposit refunded. Called for hours and they say the will send me the reefund but never have ! its been 2 months now - crooks

Can I pay for manually? I have just spoken to a representative from your team, who is telling me that THE SAME CARD THAT I ASKED TO BE REMOVED FROM YOUR FILES IS TO BE CHARGED AGAIN. This. Is. An. Absolute. Joke. Can you not see the problem that Mr. Shehan has caused? I will have to voice my grievances on Twitter and Facebook and Google Reviews again - so be it. When you are ready to deal with me properly, I’m here, ready and waiting.

Avoid at all costs! Long queuing, rude customer service, prices on the beginning are low, but later there will try to steal some money from you. In my case I rented a car with some dents on bodywork. I took a pictures on collection and return, nothing changed during this time - I've been told that everything is alright... but on the next day they sent me an notice that found a small dent on the left bumper - I found on pictures captured by me that this small dent has been before the rental, anyway they invoiced me on AED 399 for a repair - unbelievable.... I'm not going to pay it. Robbers!
